A work permit is temp residence status so yes. Then you enter dates and travel and it'll tell you if you're eligible to apply on your chosen date.
Thank you for the reply! :)

I'm in a similar situation. I have an Australian PR visa, which is still valid although I never visited. I mentioned it in Q13 but I attached an explanation letter saying I've never been there.

oh crap. this made me remember my visa in Australia that I forgot to include in Q13! and I already mail my application :(

I hold a visa 309 in Australia. It's called a Provisional (Partner) Visa wherein it lets me stay in Australia while a PR visa is being processed. It's valid since I used that to enter in Australia. What to do now?

I don't think they will care. I think they are primarily looking for PR/Citizenship(s)

Ooops... If I remember correctly, 309 is considered PR for lots of scenarios. Maybe mail another application package today and explain the situation?
Mine is 189 but I failed to land within its time limit...

I thought so to after reading your comment. Technically I'm not a PR yet although I can be eligible for PR 2 years after this visa so I thought I shouldn't include this.

Oh well I guess I'll just leave it for now.

HI Spyfy,

Appreciate you helping everyone here. I'm trying to figure out 2 questions actually.

1. Can I send my and my wife's application in same package/envelop?
2. and about Q 11: if you are unemployed for some time (looking for job): what you should mention in these columns :
Name of Contact, phone number, email address?

Does writing "Not Applicable" works?

I've written in "Occupation" as "unemployed: was looking for job" and provided the address where I used to stay. Just wondering if I need to provide lanldord's contact details in unemployed status for contact info(Name of Contact, phone number, email address) or I can leave it as "Not Applicable"?

Thank you.

1) two in same envelope is fine. Use a paper clip to keep each application separate. Ensure that each app has its own documents checklist at the front.

2) unemployed is fine and you can place N/A in each box.

That's what I thought when filling out the forms. But reviewing my answers now it seems like they also look for other type of visas that maybe considered immigrant visa seeing that the form used student as a sample status in the question. My visa is visas for spouses of Australian/permanent resident although you don't get PR status upon arrival.

Hi Spyfy
If i have lived at multiple home addresses during one job. What should i do which address should i enter ir creat multiple rows with same employer name for different home addresses. This will be duplication of the home address question.
Someone took a screenshot of what IRCC has said regarding this section. Spyfy has explained it in the comment below i copied. This makes sense now and its clear.

Put the physical location of your job.

Example:
- You live in Mississauga
- Your company has their headquarters in Calgary
- You work for that company in Toronto

Then in Question 10, you list your Mississauga address. And for Question 11 you list the Toronto address.
This really makes much more sense. Otherwise, if you kept the same job but moved your private home, you would need separate lines in your work history which makes no sense

Hey Guys,
what should I fill in for Q 9 c? I went for visiting family to India during eligibility period (2 times in 2 years for 25 days each year)..does that count as living outside Canada and do I have to fill that extra form of residence outside Canada?

you should check it as "NO", visiting any country for vacation is not counted as residing in that country and the form in question is for crown servants which i think you are not.

no, that's a vacation that should be listed in the residency calculator.

Hi, just one more question, :)
I started going to university for my masters while working full time for the past 2 years. I completed the masters now (did it like full time).. Do I have to mention that ? would there be a clash of time-periods?

I just got off the phone from talking to an agent at IRCC. I asked her the following questions:

I told her my eligibility period which is from oct 2012 to oct 2017.

Question 9c. have you lived outside of Canada during your eligibility period?
She told me to click on the help button next to it and if i fall into any of these categories then the answer would be YES otherwise NO.

Questin 12b. You should list all the years from 2012 to 2017 and tick YES to the boxes you were required to file and tick YES if you did file for those years. Tick NO to the boxes if you weren't required to file and you didn't.

Question 15. Language evidence, which in my case is my BA degree from abroad (UK) but there is no box to tick if you have a Dimploma, certificate or transcript of a secondary or post-secondary education completed in Canada or abroad. She said its ok they are just asking you if you have a proof or not and if you do you will send it with your application.

Question 11. I asked her for the section that asks where were you physically located and she told me to write the work or school address in that section.
