Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Guys, I am a pharmacist but worked remotely for a service company website based in USA as a website manager, developer and designer ( NO professional degree for that) and my question is, if they issued an experience letter to me stating that I am doing their website business on a full time for one year how Ontario is going to make sure that I did the work? Is it acceptable without professional degree in computer sciences ?

Look everyone is concerned about their applications. I personally have called them twice once for acknowledgement of my documents and once for the status. Most of us have tried checking status via emails or call and nothing is wrong in that. Yes calling them again and again is not right or makes no sense. But they need to come with a meaningful reply initially some of the applicants were told they are processing applications in the way we get, then they replied that they have a backlog. Give one straight answer why a applicant is in decisions phase since 2-2.5 months ?

And most of us are waiting here since a while now so it is natural that people will call or try to get in touch with them!

No one is being impatient here, if that would be the case would have not waited for 80 days

By the way
Whats your timeline ?
I am waiting for them to open for applications again. However, a recent post from @BillHyatt indicated that they may not do it any time soon because the current people are being demanding and impolite.

When you decide to immigrate, you should be grateful to all the effort the country makes for you instead of critical and looking for immediate gratification.

Dude that is not a valid reason and no one is being impolite people just ask them and that is natural as I told you earlier its just that calling again and again is not right!
And dont blame people for the current hold did they mention anywhere ?
I can understand your frustration but don’t blame it on others

And dude they are left with 988 applications only that is why they are holding on

My post was to point out that with such a large number of applicants still waiting for more than 60 days it seems not viable for them to issue new NOI's especially knowing the reaction of applicants after they have created such a mess.

I believe that all applicants should have received Nominations within 60 Days or OINP shall clearly state the new processing time. It is totally frustrating for anyone waiting for no reason and others who applied after them getting Nominations.

I talked to OINP and they assured they will process many applications by the end of September but instead, they haven't issue nominations since 2 or more weeks. If they are having backlogs then there is no reason not to issue Nominations.

I hope it will clear things.

@BillHyatt , the poster above was responding to my question, "Has anyone considered that perhaps it would be better not to call so they can have the time to do their jobs instead of answer phone calls?" I think all the calls make their job harder, and they are working hard for all of us.

Thanks my friend for clearing the air its frustrating that people are blaming other applicants for the hold.

You know I am in DIP since 10th August without any reason I am waiting. They have not even asked for any additional documents. Applicants after some of us are getting nominated and OINP tells that they process as they get the applications (Date Wise). This is not a valid reply. You need to back with facts that’s what I understand

Thank You once again for clearing all the doubts

I started the conversation by suggesting that all the phone calls were not helping applications to get processed any faster. I believe that we all should be grateful for the opportunity to become Canadian PRs, not critical of the work they are doing on our behalf. @BillHyatt, I am sorry if I misremembered what you said. But this "reaction" and reading all the posts suggesting to call them don't make the situation any better.

Yes, I agree with such assumptions. However, I don't think there is a need to call OINP if they were doing their Jobs anyway. The second thing to note is that OINP customer service (who attends calls) are not officers. So, calls can be frustrating for them without any doubt but it cannot impact on processing.

I completely agree with you to have some sympathy with OINP officers but a point OINP needs to understand as well is that it is more frustrating for an applicant to receive a baseless PFL after 70 days. Many applicants receive letters that your points are below 67 when they are more than 70 or receive letters indicating your PoF shows funds below LICO while they are well above it. This not only makes applicants nervous but also make their life more difficult for rest of the waiting time.

In conclusion, where I have a complete sympathy with OINP officers, I also recognise the genuine concern of applicants.

I hope this will help.

You are a good soul, Bill. And I admit, I have trouble dealing with the impatience of applicants who are fortunate enough to already be this far in the process when so many of us would be happy to be in their shoes without complaint.

When we started the process, my husband said that we needed to be prepared to jump through whatever hoops they want, because we are not entitled to this. We are dependent on Canada's good graces, and should act accordingly.

I agree with you, however, I believe we should take a balanced approach. I respect your work and views and agree that calling doesn't work expect to know the status.

Good Luck with your application.

I am aware of your circumstance and recognise your point that what it means to have this opportunity. However, we have a young blood on this forum who are sometimes impatient and IRCC seems to like that.

Wish to see you in Canada one day. Good Luck.

Hi Guys,

As we are all anticipating OINP to open sometimes soon, either in the remaining days of 2016 or sometimes in 2017 - I propose we all get together here, chat, discuss, share updates, predict and then share good news... once PT notifications would start coming through.

First of all there is a good thread with info on OINP: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/oinp-ee-human-capital-priorities-stream-comprehensive-guide-t396543.0.html prepared by rajkamalmohanram.

Secondly, we have a watsapp group, pm or leave your number if you want to be added.

Finally, I am new to OINP myself, so I will try help whenever I can with advise or provide a pointer where to look for an advice.

Good luck to everyone!
