I did my PGPM (Finance) from SPJIMR and I got following result.

Canadian Equivalency: One year of post-secondary study at non-recognized institution.

Moreover, I got the information from SPJIMR that - AICTE has approved the PGPM Programme, under the nomenclature 'PGDM (Executive)'. I also wrote to AMBA, UK and they are ready to issue letter of recognition.

(You can find those AICTE approval letters on SPJIMR website)

While I am pursuing with WES, presently, am I eligible to claim for - "Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials was issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer"?

Please also share if someone could succeed getting PGPM recognized through WES.

SInce it says "unrecognized" you cannot claim any points and hence cannot choose any of those options sadly. Your only option is to to appeal to WES with further evidence or try a different ECA provider.

Another thing to note is that even if the program is currently recognized by AICTE, WES quite often checks if it was recognized during the year you did it. There are people who found out much later that during the year they pursued it, the program was not recognized.

Indian institutes are notorious for starting a program without proper approvals and then later getting another program approved and clubbing other ancillary programs under it. WES will not approve those since the AICTE approval should clearly be for the PGPM program.

As I said, collect all evidence and appeal the decision and if it still doesn't work, try another ECA provider.

Yes, you are right.! While the institute admittedly written in its e-mail reply, when I checked with the Chairperson of the AICTE, he advised me to write back to WES.

I have again written to WES with the exact text written by Chairperson and also that AMBA, UK has its recognition. Let's see..!

It's not mentioned on the certificate.
But when I googled then there is the PDF which states that the course is Aicte and ugc approved. Would you say that such letter would help .

Yes regular 2 year PGDM program from SPJAIN, Mumbai. That is the flagship program of SPJAIN. The program is AICTE approved as well.

Hello, thanks for sharing, my case is the same SPJIMR, Mumbai, flagship 2 year regular program. Got WES report today and it doesn't recognize the SPJIMR PGDM. Please let me know the process by which I can get this approved. My course is AICTE certified as well. and the two documents which you mentioned AIU and AICTE has to be submitted by Institution or by the candidate. Looking forward for urgent help in this regard.
