Help help help....WES did'nt recognize India's top ranked institute...what to do

is WES the only education assessment institution accepted by Canada? i thought there were 3-4 other institutions also right ?

No doubt XLRI is top institute. Not sure if the issue is with cat vs xat institute or college vs university. You may check with them why XLRI isn't recognized. Send them url of AICTE approved college list.

I have done pgdm from mdi. They said institute is recognized but degree equivalence was given as 2 or more bachelor degree. Upon query, they revised the Wes report and updated equivalence as masters. Hence there is possibility of error in Wes evaluation.

One of my friends from IIM K sent only the transcripts and photocopy of the degree and he got WES report in 2 weeks as masters.

I have an MBA from SP Jain and they refused to recognize it. I asked for reevaluation and the same thing. Asked SP Jain to intervene and they said they are helpless on this issue.

They don't recognize bschools from India for some reason..

Surprising topic. XLRI/SPJ are not recognized ones?!!!!
Please write to WES and get it clarified. I have heard people saying, WES revises the report if required.
I got mine as Masters Degree though for 2 years full-time from NM.

Hey Canada2425, NM offers MBA degree for Mumbai campus and PGDM for Blore & Hyd campuses. May i know from which branch did u complete ur MBA/PGDM?. I have send my transcripts to WES and am eagerly awaiting the results.

I am an ex student of the Welingkar Institute in India, PGDBA -DLP 2008 batch. I had sent my transcripts to WES for Canadian equivalency, however they have certified stating that it is a Non recognized institute. The remarks received are " Two years of post-secondary study at a non-recognized institution". I

However, as per my research, the course got recognition in 2008-09 by UGC. While I have written to WES in the same regard, I wanted to know if I can get some documentation from your end to support my case, as I believe the course content has not changed.

Please advise if I can populate Two or more post secondary in the profile

Send the AICTE recognition certificate and AIU recognition certificate to WES. Only then they will recognize.

I have done MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and wanted to do the ECA via WES. Can someone guide me as to what all needs to be done?
1. Do I have to send documents for both undergrad and masters?
2. In case I have to send both undergrad and master's documents, then can they be sent separately?(Since both colleges will send on their own)
3. Do I also need to send individual semester mark sheets along with degree and transcript?
4. Do I need to send AIU and AICTE proof of my college being affiliated with them?
5. If my institute sends the documents directly, then do they need to place a seal on the back?
