I had to do an edit to my employer's name and now my application status is stuck in "processing update". Will I be out of the draw if this does not complete soon? :(

@shaun75 Yes, that 1:5 ratio is sooooo impressive. Show's two things:
1. Your posts very intelligent/relevant/ insightful/ relatable
And/or
2. You are much loved here

Either way, you are definitely very influencial on this forum - what Malcolm Gladwell in his book Tipping Point might clasify as a Maven-Connector. ;)
Naaaah! Neither! :D ;)
Actually, it is because she promotes well-needed HOPE here. I hope you will get your ITA very soon, Sis.

Thanks. Yes my brother (we both sharing same mother or father) landed on 12th july, 2017 and I claimed points on 13th, July, 2017.

I am not worried about this but they are also asking for on the date of submission of profile also. In my case the date of submission of profile is 25th June, 2017 when my brother was in india. This seems illogical because supposing a Candidate submitted his profile 10 month back and his sibling subsequently got his PR and is established there. Does not this candidate has a right / eligibility to qualify for 15 sibling points. But as per the “? HELP “ notice there in application section of the Express Entry he is not eligible for sibling points.

In fact, I just wanted to know your thoughts considering the framing of the sentence and paragraphs 2 & 3 which seem contradictory. Sometimes I infer that this condition of 2 dates is meant for step brothers / sisters only.

Also when I check “ SIBLING “ in “GLOSSARY “ at IRCC website, they have mentioned the condition of both dates in explanation of Step-brother / Sisters only in the explanation part.

Also about these “both dates” there is no mention at all in Canada GAZETTE or anywhere on IRCC website.

I am really in a dilemma whether to go for ITA route or decline it and wait for OINP where I am in ASSESSMENT stage as my CRS IS 434.

Please do share your thoughts regarding what do they mean to say in there and glossary.

Thanks.
by submission of profile, they must be meaning eAPR...the date on which you actually apply for pr...not while you create an EE profile..
IRCC requires eligibility both at the time of ITA & eAPR (for other factors as well) ....likewise, for claiming sibling point, sibling should be residing in Canada at the time of securing ur ita (that's when you actually claim the point ~logically ) and, also at the time of filing ur application-eAPR ...
Once you are AOR stage,it wouldn't matter if ur sibling returns home...

The strong pessimist that i am , yet i have a strong inkling that there will most definitely be a draw today....

PS - Universe...If you really want a pessimist to turn into an eternal optimist ...This is your golden chance...Gimme a draw
Ha ha ha. The IRCC universe has given a lot of signs (unexpected back to back draws) to the pessimists on here over the last 2 years :D Unfortunately, the pessimists never learn ;) Seems like once a pessimist, always a pessimist :p

Good luck to you. Hope you cross over to the lighter/brighter side today :p

Hey i have a query. You say that siblimg has to be there for eApr. Actually my sister has a PR.shes even been to canada post her PR. While i am claiming her points but she will be in my country for couple of Months. This means she will be here while they assess my documents. So is that of a concern to CIC?. Plz help.

OK so am ready with my analysis of number crunching & my prediction ....Here goes ......

If there is a draw today which i feel is highly likely then the scores would be following :-

ITA's issued between 2900-3100 - Score would be 428

ITA's issued between 3100-3200 - Score would be 427

The reason for the drop of only 5 points mentioned above even though it would constitute a back to back draw is that last Friday saw an IELTS result being released which was not the case in the draw of 9th Aug hence we could end up seeing a high influx of new candidates with high scores during this week .

ALL IN ALL....MY STRONG GUT FEEL & NUMBER ANALYSIS MAKES ME FEEL 428 WILL BE THE SCORE TODAY...NOT MORE NOT LESS !

Thank you so much. Sometimes it's hard watching newbies show up here with 430s, knowing they are just passing through the thread while it will take us more than a year more to get over 400. It's nice to know that people I like and respect here don't consider us the crazy old folks :)
Yes it's hard. Newbies coming in with score that I will never be able to obtain. And then only to see them take the ITA then decline it

I have come up with the prediction for the 70th draw.

If it happens on:
Aug 16 - CRS 426 - ITAs 3000
Aug 17 - CRS 427 - ITAs 3000
Aug 18 - CRS 428 - ITAs 3000

The variance in the above calculation is +/- 1 CRS.

Please find below the CRS cut off on each date (in case the number of ITAs issued is more/less than 3000):

My personal point of annoyance is when they criticize CIC. CIC are the people that are enabling us to pursue our Canadian dream. I'd rather send them chocolates than negative words, lol.

I agree. CIC is doing a great job already imho. CIC in fact is only responsible and be answerable to Canadian citizens and Canadian PRs. And I'd say 99.9% of the people criticizing CIC are neither citizens nor PRs.
