Hi All,
I've been lurking on the Ray of Hope forums for a month and I decided to finally post something

. I'm
REALLY hoping for a draw today. I have a score of 429 and I also have an acceptance letter from Conestoga for a program that starts in January. Ideally, I'd have liked to join college as a permanent resident. But I guess with the 6 month processing time, I'd be cutting things really fine (assuming things can still be cut really fine given my circumstances) if I do make it as a permanent resident.
Since the past few weeks, I've been playing with the idea that it would make sense to go on a student visa and change my visa to a Permanent Resident one once I land there. Is that possible? Does anyone else have any other suggestions about what course of action I can adopt given the way things are today?
Thanks
