+1(514) 937-9445 or Toll-free (Canada & US) +1 (888) 947-9445
I am a victim of the same boat, L8.5, R8, W6, S8 CRS 408, I was expecting at least 7 to make it to 462, because this was my third try and previously I achieved 6.5.

I am failed to improve by any means. I am going to give my hard work a chance to prove my luck wrong and wait for the score to gradually reduce. Since your CRS 417 is already achieved in the last draw. I think you should wait.
There is no guarantee, so while you wait do everything you can to increase your score. You are just half a band away. Do not give up. I wrote the test thrice, some 4 or 5 times before succeeding. So never give up!

Believe me, it happens a lot of times! And no, I'm not confusing a birth record with a birth certificate ;)

There are a lot of shocking and impossible things that happen in the world you're not aware of, my friend ;)
I guess so. But that is just poor work from the government. my gosh.

How do you identify someone without a name?lol

If the draw happens with these scores. Will the next draw be below 420?

Assuming the draw cut off is as predicted today, If the next draw happens after a 2 week gap, the cut off won't reach 420. If it is after a 1 week gap, it is possible for the cut off to be somewhere near the 420 mark.

What?? which country does this happen in? Are you guys not confusing a birth record and a birth certificate?

Birth record is given by the hospital or clinic as evidence of birth.
A birth certificate is an official identity document given by the government. It is impossible to not have a name on it.

This was common in India. Indians have a custom of performing a naming ceremony in the 3rd month after baby's delivery. So, they used to get certificate first with out a name (as online system was not there earlier) and it is valid all across India.

So what will they do with an unnamed BC? Wipe off the baby may be haha.

Any chance for 3800 ITA's to be issued? so that CRS will come down to 434 or below:)

No data to predict the number of ITAs.

I just assume it to be similar to the previous draw conducted. Hence, the assumed ITA count is 3400 for my prediction.

If the ITA count is 3800, the cut off would be CRS 435 based on my analysis.

No no no, smile plz like this :D:D:D, 408 will be soon chosen you'll see Andie, 2018 is our destination year to Canada ))) :) Keep smiling and posting nice words, you are our Secretary General in this thread!

lol, this might be strange for you but its valid in India as parent#s name will be mentioned very clear with Surnames (we Indians usually have long names) and hence, it can be authentic.
But, later on, they should get the unnamed certificate updated, which most of the parents failed to do.

Probably, they were not aware of Canada#s EE scheme at that time ;)

Hang on so your legal name technically is '...........'

Can i call you Blanky for short :)

Most people who have nameless birth certificates don't know about it until they they're well into adulthood and need the birth certificate for immigration or any other official work.

And no, you can't call them Blanky because they don't know that that's their "official" name :)

Jokes aside, it's an oversight and can be easily rectified in most cases with additional documentary proof.

@rithesh I have read somewhere if your IELTS marks has difference of more then 2 bands in between two parts (in this case Reading and writing), BC would do a recheck automatically before the results. I did recheck for mine same results and it was never changed. Don't waste your money and time on rechecking. Better to wait for OINP NOI or go for IELTS again.
Yes, this is true, but not always the case. A number of people have succeeded in remarks. However, i do agree that retaking the test is a better option.
