Hi,

You can just borrow money from someone or the bank.

They want is you have funds in your account. I got funds in my account and in a couple of days took bank statements of last 6 months and balance confirmation certificate.

As long as you meet their basic criteria of showing last 6 months statements + balance Required you're good.

You can check the CIC website for the amount you need for Proof of Funds depending upon the size of your family.

If you borrow the amount from someone make sure the person makes a gift deed in your name stating that he/she has given you that amount to you our of love and affection and does not expect it back and that you have full right to use that money in whatsoever manner you wish to. Get this gift deed from a notary. Take a bank statement which reflects this amount in your account as a gift deed and then you are good to go.

So even if I borrow from frnds I need to get a notary stating as gift right
And with 6mnths bank statement I am good to go right?

One more thing is I have a valid H1b visa till 2019 aug but haven't travelled so far
So if I travel by end of 2017 n it's renewed after 2019 I will have 3more yrs which is till 2022
If I get PR even that will be valid till 2022 so I'm totally confused frnds

Yes you need to make a gift deed no matter from whomsoever you borrow the money from. Yes with 6 months bank statement reflecting the amount required by CIC you are good to go.

What is there to be confused? Your H1B visa is for US. You will get PR for Canada. Both are totally different. Seniors correct me if I am wrong.

do you know if I change NOC after NOI that may affect OINP application.

the change is not like day and night!

I put Biologist first then I realized that it should be Veterinarian!
initially I did not mention Veterinarian assumed that I require license!! but the job descriptions almost similar!

help me please if I need to recreate profile that I really do not want coz I already did 1 time.

I'm sorry I don't have any idea about this. The only thing I can say for sure is that you must NOT recreate your profile after receiving NOI.

As you are the main applicant you didn't had to deposit the money in your spouse account. You could have given your bank statement along-with you spouse's. Also your spouse needs to give you a letter stating that you have full access to her account and that she doesn't have issue if you use that money for the purposes of immigration. Noe that you have already deposited the money in her account you need to show the source of this fund in your application.

Thanks a lot for clarification. Actually i had to deposit to her account because she had already half of the amount and her bank statement is better than me in terms of transactions and available balance every month as she is saving every month in her account. She also wrote a letter stating that i have access to these funds. the source of the money is her salary, she is working and she is saving part of her salary in cash, so i mentioned in a letter that the recent deposit is a cash saving. her monthly salary is good enough to show that we have enough cash money.

You have 6 month to accept the NOI. So chill!! Also you have 14 days after you register you profile in the OneKey account. Get POF and submit your docs. You have lots of time buddy!!

thanks one more thing i want to ask is that dont you think there is a cap for the nomination if i dont find a way of applying as soon as possible if i follow the 6 months gap wont it end in a situation where they would say they have reached the nomination lmit for the year

Depending on how many people accept their NOIs in the coming months, it is possible that the quota would be filled up in the next 3 to 4 months.

Hi,

I didn't do anything i.e. did not write a gift deed nor did I ask the person who loaned me money to write a gift deed. Since there was no deed there isn't a question of getting it notarized.

As soon as I got the funds in my account the very next day i went to the bank. Downloaded the bank statements for the last 6 months + got a balance certificate which states how much money is in the account as of that particular day.

Both these statements were signed by the Branch Operations Manager.

scanned them and merged them all in one pdf and uploaded. Please make sure pdf size is less than 5mb coz that's the limit.
