Hi Wondering Mind,
Just checking is there any place where OINP for Federal immigration has stated that they dont accept joint account statements, other than spouse? I am asking because I have seen individuals (singles) have joint account with mother or father and sending authority letter from the joint holder stating that the applicant has full access to funds.
I'm sorry I don't know anything about that.

Please look for answers in the "Proof of Funds" threads on this forum. Good luck.

Hey Guys,

I received a message saying this:

Ontario would like to consider you under their Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Dear XXX,

The Government of Ontario is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry.

If you want Ontario to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Ontario directly after receiving this letter. Note that this letter of interest is not a guarantee that you will be nominated by Ontario. You will first have to satisfy Ontario that you meet the requirements of their program.

You can find general information about each province or territory's PNP program on the website. You will also find a link to Ontario's PNP requirements and contact information.

Just wanna know what to do next? Should I email them to say im interested? if so whats the email address and what should I expect in reply. Or should I directly go to this :

http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL_APPLY.html

and try to figure things out from there?

Please advise. Thank you in advance!

Congrats!! You just got a Notification Of Interest from Ontario (NOI). Go through the Guide provided on Ontario Immigration for Human Capital Stream and start collecting the documents mentioned therein. Once you have all the required documents then you can apply. You have 6 months to accept this NOI and you have to complete you application within 14 days once you register you profile.

If there is a group related to OINP can someone please send the invite.

One query is I had created my profile in April 2017 and have a score of 364 and NOC code 2174.
Ontario is suddenly giving some hopes for lower score applicants like me and I wanted to know whether re creating the EE profile helps in any way ? Most posts are mentioning this and some of them are new applicants.

Thanks
recreate the profile as soon as possible.

I will be more than happy if anyone below 400 gets NOI as I was the one of the first person to voice in their favor, as I consider them equally talented and deserving.

From many weeks I have been informing in this forum that ICT quota is highest amongst all because Ontario need them but they somehow was able to fill it only by 40% while others have already exceeded by 90-100%.

Therefore, they have sent many NOI's last week below 400 to ICT candidates and have met targets. The recent Update from OINP releasing NOC codes was related to already issued NOI's as there were many candidates writing them emails to ask if they are eligible. This means anyone from these NOC will be exempt from 400 points rules during application.

Nevertheless, it doesn't indicate if they will continue to send NOI's in the coming weeks. If they want to send NOI's then they usually use wording like "we will send NOI's unless quota is filled or throughout this month" but in this case they used wording "for the week of June 26th will be targeting".

Finally, they have lowered score limit for these NOC's and may issue NOI in the future but exact timing cannot be confirmed.

Sources:
There is a lot of data available on open government website of Canada. You can download speadsheets, take a look at OINP Targets, and then make your own calculations.

We all give our input which may not be true always yet it is a small contribution that may give a right direction to some applicants.

Good luck!

@Wandering Mind & @BillHyatt and all senior members:

Very urgent question:

My spouse has got NOI from Ontario on the 29th June. We are in the process of collecting the documents. Now the issue is her work experience.

Her last job was from 3rd November 2014 to 11th September 2015 which makes it approx 11 months. Before that she worked from 15th December 2009 to 6th December 2011. She took a break for our newly born child. Now the issue is as per the ONIP guide book the work experience has to be continuous for one year and Work experience was obtained within the last five years from the date of your Notification of Interest from Ontario.

So as we calculate her work experience is only approx 11 months in the last 5 years. She has overall work experience of 5 years & 11 months. Will this be an issue for the VO?? Kindly suggest if there is any way to get out of this. Thanks!!

what did you put in the express entry profile? I mean did you mention the right dates as you have described?

You may have to attach the birth certificate of your kid to prove why she took that break supported by a letter.

Should be ok I guess as it is only one month..
