Hello @profiler ,
my application was been returned because missing documents ( joint utilities documents and important documents showing the same address) my question is , now i have cell phone under my name and my wife has an authorization is this enough to be joint utilities documents and for important documents showing the same address i will apply the joint account bank between me and my wife, and my SIN has the same address, my wife sponsor me
Isn't joint utilities document optional if you can provide the other documents? the form says 'pick at least two (2) of the following documents' of which there are 6 to pick from. I don't have joint utility but I have 4 others. does anyone knows if that will be OK

I had the same problem with not getting a request for my schedule A. I was told to upload it through the webform but have got no reply since Wednesday last week when I did. Did you hear anything from them? Do you know they've received it?
Long story short; we both have submitted the same day and I also haven't heard from them yet.
Long story long; When I realized that they were waiting for PCC and SchA for a month I submitted SchA right away on Friday and requested the translation of the PCC which I could only submit Wednesday. the first document they have received and replied on Monday, but the second I still waiting.

Hi Everyone,
I received an email from cic, it has UCI and application no. I'm no sure if this is AOR email. The email is as following,
To continue processing your application, you must link your application to an online account.

To link your application to your online account:

  • Search for “Link m” on Canada.ca and follow the instructions.
  • Link your application within seven calendar days from the day you receive this letter for faster processing times.
After you create your online account, you will:

  • get instructions to send us other documents we need
  • see real-time information about your application status
  • receive messages from us in your online account
When your application is linked to your account, you will no longer receive messages from us by mail.

If you choose not to link your application:

  • It could take us longer to process your application.
  • We will continue communicating with you or your representative by email or regular mail.
We thank you for your cooperation.

2) Does anyone know how can I renew my Driver's License, while being on implied status.
Thank you

no we dont have the same number under the the same phone , the phone number under my name and she has an authorization. in Bell company
if both of your phones are under your bill/ account, that is a joint telephone bill. you will know because both your phones will be under one statement which you pay each month. i'm assuming that by saying she has authorization, you both have access to your online account. i was just kinda confused how you explained it there.

Hi

Yea i got the same. For PcC its only for the Principle applicant. No need for the sponsor.

For CSQ the processing time is 25 business days it toke me 1 month and a week. But dont worry cic knows that csq takes time and in fact i got email from gov quebec saying that.

Your good to go now wish you all the luck
Thanks a lot for your response, Badi.

- Should I submit my Sch A (sponsor) too.

- No need for my PCC at this time.
It may be that they'll ask it later because according to cic guide the family member would be me too.

- Did you upload or notify cic that you'd be getting the CSQ later than the date they requested
At what cic email I should reply for that or do I need to use an IRCC webform to provide that explanation.

Hi everyone,
Unfortunately just realized (after submitting our app) we somehow missed the OWP fee on our spousal sponsorship application. Is this an automatic return? Is there anyway to pay after submitting??
Thanks :(:(

1) Yes, it looks like a AOR
2) Depends on your province, in Ontario they ask for some sort of visa or the Ontario ID, if you have requested your provincial ID before you got implied you would be fine.There is also the chance that they will not ask for your proof of status.

If I was you I would evaluate what is more important; money or get the OWP fast. If money is not a concern, then pay and send a Case Specific Inquiry also express mail it with a letter to the same office that you have submitted your application. But if you have time and want to save the money of a possible rejection just wait for CIC to request the payment or return the application.

You can also call them and ask for a advice.

Hi thank you so much! Looking into CSI now.. so we should submit that online and explain and then also send the fee receipt express post, correct? Money is not as important to us as time for sure.. so we are going ahead with your first suggestion and hoping for the best!!

Just tried to do the Case specific inquiry and we can't do it without either a Client ID number or an application number. We don't hae either of those things yet since we just got notification it was received on Monday (two days ago). Is there any way around this or should we just express post the proof of payment with a letter and hope for the best?

For inland applications the Principal applicant MUST have a UID check your visa and you will find it.
Check the link, "application reference number" is optional. Just explain the situation and wait the excruciating waiting that take for a response.

You wish to report a technical issue with IRCC online services. Please select 'Technical Difficulty' as your application/enquiry type and ensure you provide:

  • approximate date that the application was submitted, if applicable, in the 'Your enquiry' field.
  • complete address (including the postal code) in the 'Your enquiry' field. If the residential address is different from the mailing address, please provide both addresses;
  • Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number, if you have one;
  • online application reference number, if you have one;

Hi. I think that your application is ok. Mine was received and I then 2 month later I got this message in my cic account:

This refers to the Application for an Open Work Permit and the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class. Processing of your Open Work permit application has begun, however the required fees ($255.00) were not provided.

In order to avoid further delay in the processing of your Open Work Permit application and risk that you fall out of status, the required Work Permit fees have been recovered from the Right of Permanent Residence Fees (RPRF) you have submitted with your Application for Permanent Residence. As partial RPRF fees cannot be applied to your file, you will be receiving a refund of the balance.

A confirmation of the applicable refund will be sent once the refund has been initiated. Please note that this will not affect the processing of your application. Please note that in light of the above, the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is outstanding. Should your Application for Permanent Residence be successful, the IRCC office responsible for your landing interview will provide you with the instructions to the Right of Permanent Residence Fee ($490). You must follow these instructions and pay the required fees before permanent residence can be granted to you.

DO NOT SUBMIT PAYMENT FOR YOUR OPEN WORK PERMIT APPLICATION ($255.00). As indicated above, these fees have already been recovered and should your Application for Permanent Residence be successful, you will be contacted at a later date for payment of any missing fees.

Don´t worry...

Thanks!! That is very reassuring! We just sent it by express post since we were so worried about it. From your answer it looks like it should be okay! Now I'm worried about the UCI number.. we didn't know it was on his visitor visa and now the forms won't have it on. They might send back for this I assume...
