SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

AoA,

Ramadan Mubarak to everyone. I wanted to know i have applied for my wife's sponsorship in July 23rd 2016. The medical was done on May 10th 2016. I have received the letter from LVO on September 3rd 2017. I have not heard back from them yet. She has been in sharjah since her birth and went for further studies to Pakistan . at the time of application being sent she was working in Pakistan. She currently is in Sharjah at the moment.I have paid the full processioning fee of 1040 CAD. I only had a nikkah done in sharjah court and had a small reception with 10 -15 odd families. Will be doing ruksati and waleema after the whole immigration process. Any suggestions provided will be greatly appreciated.

Hi All

I am new here, My wedding is next month, I wanted to ask that is there any check list I can use to do this spousal process and make sure step by step I am doing it right.

Anyone here who recently applied and know what are the rules in 2017 and what can we do before hand to speed things up and also avoid any errors.

my case is almost same as yours...we applied for permanent residency on 28th july 2016 and upfront medical done on 10th may 2016...we are also nikkah only case and planning to do rukhsati after the whole process is completed..i received additional document request on 21st march 2017 asking for proof of communication and reason for not doing rukhsati and they also said if rukhsati not completed than they might call me for an interview..i sent them required documents on 18th april 2017 and since than its a complete silence..my medical expired and.no request received yet..i emailed them few days back asking about my status and they said its under review so i will suggest you to email them regarding the status of your application.

I called them a month ago and they said its under review but if i needed more info i may have to contact LVO via email.
 
Asalam o alaikum everyone,

I applied for my husband on Aug 26,2016 upfront medical was done in June 2016. On May 9,2017 I got a request for re-medical and the medical was done on 17th May. It has been 2 weeks since then and I have not heard anything back.

So I emailed my lawyer today and this is what she replied back.
"There is no update yet. I will keep you posted once we hear something from them. I will send a follow up after 6 weeks (in 4 more weeks) because the application will not update until then."

I am confused as what to do next. Please advise.

Dont worry, i received re-medical request on 27 April and still waiting. Its been more than a month.
 
Hi Guys. Just got an email from LVO to complete a new Schedule A Background Declaration Form (IMM 5669). I am 100% sure I completed this when I initially submitted my application. Has this happened to anyone else? Why are they asking me to fill it again?

Hello everyone,

Need some guidance please. From where should I get my nikkah nama translated? and we only have to send them translated certified copy of nikkah nama only or copy of urdu nikkahnama also ???

Go here to the CIC website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp
Under "Get your checklist, forms and instructions", choose your options and click "Get checklist and forms". Make sure you follow this and also (like it says in step 1), print out the checklist and put it at the top of your application. If you need any help, you can message me :) I applied earlier this year
