Hey guys, I have been following this thread. My application shows BG check in process. AOR is FEB 10th. Any idea how does it take from this point to PPR?

Did you ever call or sent an email to find out about your app status and VO? Why I am asking is that most times the info they give over the phone is different from what is recorded in the GCMS as complained by some persons.

Very difficult. Makes me wonder if they have to contact the provinces first before proceeding?

I don't remember the source, but I remember reading that they contact the provinces for PNP applicants, and then don't proceed with the application u til they receive the reply.

I have a feeling that might be the reason for the delays because the provinces also have a lot of application to deal with on their own.

Ideally, PNP is meant to be the fastest because the provinces have done about 90% of the job before nomination. Instead, it's the opposite...

i can see two entrances on security, first "not started", second "updated", but no dates or any other comments.

All other checks are "passed"
Your security seems to be pending though you are at IP2 wheras people who had called at IP2 have been informed that file finalized . CIC is messing up a lot these day. It is because certain batches get stuck and they are not aware of it. Somebody posted a few days ago that his GCMS notes mentioned about batch stuck regarding RCMP. We have no other option than to wait patiently. Most of the delayed cases could be due to stuck at some point in their system

If you scroll down a bit you can find a due date for the security check (or for next checking the application, I don't know). When is the due date?
