It could be the case too, but they should receive a pdf attachment specifying what is missing or incomplete. We initially got one email like that, stating which form was missing something (n/a missing in one line).

I doubt this is the case, though, as when we received an email about missing/incomplete documents (with the attachment to specify what was wrong), we didn't get an AOR at all (no UCI or App number). Pretty sure they wouldn't have added you in to the system if your application was missing crucial documents when received, but they would return your application, emailing you about it beforehand.

As you said and myself, bets to try calling. If no results, think of reaching out to a MP.

as the purpose of AOR1 is to confirm they have everything they need from you when they receive the application, this is a good point:

Thanks guys, I was able to download it with internet explorer

I call cic about that for a couple of time because i didn't receive any email, they say send and inquiry to the technical difficulties in ircc web

Hi! Same case. But can I send an inquiry regarding technical difficulty at IRCC webform without calling CIC?

Certainly, but they tend not to reply with anything else than an automated reply. At least that was the case for two times we submitted the webform about difficulties.

Calling is perhaps more efficient.

It happened to me. We missed a "n/a" in one line of one of the forms. They wanted to send entire application back to us, but we quickly contacted our MP. She called them and ask to keep our file and for us to re-send the form in question. I advise you to do the same. Fingers crossed! :)
Is that ok to submit all the missed docs as web form since they gave us the temporary file number and the application has already been submitted???

ok, so I just got off the phone with CIC.

As you mentioned, I wouldn't have received an AOR if our Application was incomplete.

The agent told me that a request for PCC and Schedule A has been generated for us but a request hasn't been sent yet. That it can take up to 2 weeks from the day it is generated to the day we actually receive the request. He stated if we don't receive it on MyCIC by June 6th to call back June 7th.

So I guess even though it's taking a bit longer then normal I guess I have a sense a relief knowing that so far there are no bumps in the road.

Thanks guys for the help!

You are definitely fine with sending it through the form, so long as you have a temp number. Just make sure you receive a reply that it has been received. If not, follow up via phone.

We were told what our future number will be granted we submit the incomplete form, but to be safe we send it through postal service, rather than a web form. We were also told to send a copy of the pdf letter we got from them outlining what was missing alongside the revised form. This is so that they can add the revised/missing documents quickly to your file without any confusion.

Glad to hear that!

I was and am the same. It is always best to check with them, since the messaging system is pretty unreliable (they even admit having issues with it).

Hope you receive it by the date specified by the agent! All the best :)

Was trying to link my application to the gcc account. I am sure everything was right but i tried 5 times and failed to link it.

Any suggestions?

They made it overly complicated. I don't recall which combination worked for me, but here's the gist of it:

1. Permanent residence -> Family class (spouses)
2. City of birth: hit space bar one (Thanks to other users here for for this helpful trick!)
3. Country of birth: PA's country of birth
4. Passport info: Leave it blank
5. Other info as filled in the application, and the most trickiest part come. At marriage status, I tried "single" after many times answering "married".

Should work!

Go back some pages. A very helpful person posted 3 options of how to link correctly.

Hey friends,
Happy to share my timeline file rcvd may 4th.
Didnot recieve the aor but as i had a uci no. From once when we did an attempt to get her visitor visa. Tried my luck using same account and uci no. As uci always remains same for that person and guess what when did search, it said we have matching application showing date may 31st which means glitch in thier system is making emails late.

Now i have one question when we click on view submitted applications, its takes us to questionaires showing zero fee and no docs and at end ask for digital signs, do we need to complete this process or just wait for their instructions
