Hi farazafzal i posted the following in another thread and was looking for your opinion as well as other members opinion please;
Guys is it possible to have rejections if the pcc is dated and not covering the whole duration?for example i used to live in ksa and visited bahrain a lot by car but rarely stayed over,then i moved and reside in bahrain right now,when i tried to apply for pcc from bahrain they issued me pcc only for the period i resided in bahrain and not before since i used to visit bahrain as a visitor and they. Cant issue pcc for visitors,so my question is will i face any issues because my pcc is dated or i will be ok since having a pcc that shows no past criminal record means that i didnt have any issues for the previous times i used to visit bahrain?also on the cic website they mentioned that cic will issue me a letter to obtain bahrain pcc but i tried without it and managed to have without any issues,so if they needed another pcc for the previous times maybe they will send me a request letter to use at the bahraini authorities right??should i be worried or send an loe via cse to explain the situation?anyone been in a similar scenario please???[/QUOTE]

Citizenship and Immigration Canada will send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your Application for Permanent Residence. You must bring that letter when you apply for a Police Certificate
From what I see here, CIC will send you a letter at some point and that is what you take to get a PCC. You didn't need to submit one with your applications.

Well application can not be rejected if the policies of Countries are restricting you from doing something !

I think that would be enough !! CIC will issue the letter in a due course of time, and it is up to CIC and BAhrain CID department to agree on what is requested, what period is being covered, and what Bahrain has provided based on the letter from CIC ...
I am sure this move will at least make you safe !

Thanks what i should do now is just raise cse saying that bahrain authorities dont issue pcc for visitors correct,thanks a lot and anyways i didnt stay for more than 6 months in bahrain prior to being a resident plus all my days were only short visits by car rarely stayed there and all that is mentioned in my loe,should i upload my old passport as well since almost of those trips were in my old passport???also are there any negatives for raising a cse?? Thanks in advance

You don't have to upload old passport for reason of showing your trips. You have sufficiently mentioned this in your LoE, as well as you must have provided them with your travel history. The reason for this CSE is to clarify the situation and not to confuse them by sending irrelevant documents.
Open a CSE---> upload a document stating " “I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from IRCC to get a police certificate.”" ..--- > With in the same document in the next paragraph let them know that you have been visiting Bahrain for several times, and you have tried to get PCC for all the period , but they have only given you the letter for the period when you were resident. Not sure if it was on Canadavisa or not, but somebody wrote that your application maybe turned down if you don't upload your ECA along with your education diplomas. Plus, IELTS should also be uploaded in Education section. Can anybody confirm?
That's right ! It is the point 3 of the rejection reason that application will be refused if ECA is not uploaded.. But reading CIC instructions again and again you will know they are not actually required. One could always add some extra effort and get it scanned and upload, however, it is not a necessity as per clear instructions. I am sure if it happens, one could open a CSE and point out at there own website that it is not required, if it is required by any chance then CIC will let the applicant know about it !
