Hi senior,
I got a 24 hours UK transit visa when I was travelling from India to US. Does this need to be in travel history?

Thanks in advance!
Yes, I assume you actually left the airport. Is this correct?

Yes, I did go out of the airport, stayed in a hotel and came back to catch the flight next day.

You must definitely include it. Entry it and write transit where it asks for the purpose of visit.

All the best

Hello People...
Need help again...
I live and work in India but I have been to Portugal 4 times (15 days + 12 days + 116 days + 36 days) = 179 days during the last three years. My company'r headquarter is in Portugal and sometimes I have to go there for training's and all.
According to cic website - "Police certificates are required up front and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has lived for a total of six months or more."
I have stayed there in a total of 179 days, will I need a police certificate from Portugal?? If yes, then it will be very difficult because I was visiting there only on business visas, all the expenses like visa filing, accommodation, transportation, meals were arranged by my company. I have no idea where to contact and what to prove if I need a police certificate from there too.... :(

Please guide...
Thanks....

Hi,

I and my spouse got an ITA at 442. This score did not include my spouses' IELTS score as the result was still awaited. We got the spouse score 2 days later and it increases our score to 462.

Now my question is while filling-up the AOR do in include the spouse IELTS score or should I let it be. Just wondering if doing so would do me any good since I already got an ITA at 442.

Pl advise

Hi,

I had submitted my PR application with complete details of primary applicant, and letter of explanations for spouse and new born. Now I got their police clearance certificate, and medicals. However, I see there is no option to upload additional documents. My application status has not changed since I submitted it on 12th March 2017. I am not sure what they will do, in case the visa officer does not find my LOE convincing. Will they reject my application, or give a chance to provide additional documents along with any explanation(if needed).

Any suggestions what could be the best way forward for me? If anyone has been through a similar experience, please do share your thoughts.

Thanks.

Hi,

It wont make a difference but you can just include it since she has made the effort. Also add a line or two in the LOE.

All the best

Probably you will need a PCC from Portugal. You can check the below link for the process to get a PCC from Portugal.

You can raise a CSE and upload the necessary documents there.

I'll suggest to let it be because the IELTS score was received after ITA. In this way, you do not have to explain all this in LOE. Keep your application as simple as possible.

Hello Friends,

I have some query.. I have got some replies also for them. kindly help

1. First i became qualified to practice this occupation - I have mentioned the date when i got my first job & not when i got my bachelors. Also should i mention this in LOE?
2. By mistakenly i had put my full name in the last name column. which i have changed it after getting my ITA. I shall mention it in LOE ?
3. I did ECA for my MBA & got it as not recognized university. As per some expert comments i should put it in Personal history and not in education history. Also should i mention it in LOE?
4. Personal Activity is not in order? is that fine?
5. UAE mobile number ? can anyone help me with format for that ? Should i put 055 or 55 ?
6. Country of origin (India) and country of residence (UAE)- Any trips between India and UAE i have not put in my Travel history .. is that fine?

thank you so much for help.
