PR Card Renewal June 2026

My JSON stated completed over 6 weeks ago too and I heard from an agent that my application was last seen on July 2 by an officer. This process is so frustrating

Not linked to Gckey, application submitted on 02 August and json status changed to id 20 “completed” on 04 September then after nothing. Sent webform on 05 oct and got automated reply (In process)

I did. They aren’t helping much. I requested GCMS notes as well. Nothing yet.

Ghost update: July 13 (file was sent for secondary review)
Requested ATIP notes: August (received after 30 days)
Submitted letter of explanation: September 30
Requested ATIP notes again early October
Application approved and mailed: October 20
Card received: October 28

IRCC did not ask for anything. I discussed my issue with a consultant and he recommended to prepare a LOE as he believed that my travel history is causing confusion

I have a very extensive travel history after I became a PR but before I started to reside permanently in Canada

@zestylaw As of today, I am able to link my application using GCkey. I got application number today when I tried to link application in the portal https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca . I was not able to link the application before June 28th. The status in portal mentioned above , now shows "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.". So it seems like they are starting the process on our application approximately 30 days from application submission date. But once they start the process, they might give decision in less than a week or so. I am really I get decision made as approved in less than week and get my PR card in next 10 days maximum.

If we are not able to link to gckey how will they give the decision or if they need us to update some kind of document like photo's size too small rejection

You will receive email "CLEAR EMAIL WITH EXPLANATION AND YOUR APPLICATION WILL NO MORE BE GREYED". Your PR portal will open to accept the newly requested items.
