Yes but the thing is I am in the same timeline with someone who received AIP in 2025. We all received Medical Request at the same time because we applied at the same time around Summer 2023. I received AIP a bit late because my criminality passed in stage 1 not wait for stage 2. I am waiting for the final decision right now. We all outside Quebec.

That is not how processing works. When you originally applied for H&C is not what is important it is when you received AIP. You need to be comparing your processing to other applicants who received AIP in July 2026. When did you receive your medical request? Is this your first medical request for your H&C application? Did you have status before AIP? A medical request does not guarantee that you are nearing the end of processing. You can be asked to complete another one if the 1st one expires.

I was thinking the same thing but it doesn’t say anywhere as you said, only I have heard it from you. Either way we will wait and see.

Got AIP in late 2024 got 2nd address confirmation request even though the did it before in eary 2025.So they are moving things.I got the medical request too same like you i am from summer 2023.

You got AIP in 2025 so getting a medical request after a year is fairly normal these days. It may still take a while to get PR even though you got a medical request. Some may end up needing to do a second medical depending on how long processing takes.

Based on your posts you only got AIP in July 2026. When you got AIP would be when you joined the queue for AIP to PR so you likely have 1-2+ years before you would get PR if approved/there are no changes to the program. Although not processed exactly chronologically should give people an approximate processing timeline if you compare when others have received AIP. Whether in or outside of Quebec will lead to different processing times. There should be no additional information on ATIP notes since you just got AIP in July. At a certain point you should receive requests for a new medical or your 1st one, proof of being able to support yourself financially, etc. That would indicate you are getting closer to the end of processing.

based ircc processing time what they posted on their website still 28 months left but as always canuck says we do NOT have to believe whatever IRCC saying or posted, they got FD while IRCC internal system still shows need to wait for over 2.4 years
isn't IRCC's inconsistency?

Estimated time left

28 months left
IRCC agents give out so much incorrect advice. They should have been aware that if a clinic confirms it was sent relatively recently it just hasn’t been input in the system yet and there is often a lag time. There is no need to go to the medical clinic. You could send a webform with proof to provide reassurance for yourself but it is unnecessary.
stage 2 approval recently so

Hello
I received my AIP in May 2024 and my work permit will expire in December.
I already applied to renew it this October.13,
How long will it take to get approved?

Under IRCC’s temporary public policy (extended until October 5, 2029), you are exempt from completing a new Immigration Medical Exam (IME) if you satisfy all of the following requirements:

Do You Qualify for the Exemption?

To reuse your expired or old medical results, your situation must match these official criteria:
1. Physical Presence: You must be actively and physically living inside Canada. (IRCC explicitly clarified that if you have moved outside Canada, you can no longer use this policy, even if your last exam was done here).
2. The 5-Year Window: You must have completed your previous IME within the last 5 years from the date you submit your new application.
3. Low Health Risk: Your previous medical exam results must have been assessed as low risk or no risk to Canadian public health or safety.
