2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

I f you check 2025 gp here , you will see all of them are getting p1 except 2023 after Aug like no one here , no p1 news nothing its really unfair,
This is ridiculous. I am January of 2024 and in the same position as you guys. Everyone around me received their decision except for my application. They can't justify thousands of cases being non routine as this wouldn't make sense even to the court. They have to process our applications we have been waiting 30-40 months.
It is absolutely ridiculous and also really unfair, but what can we do other than wait ? Honestly I think we should do something material to get their attention on this.
This what is happening is really fxxx up and not fair. Whoever is responsible for these people need to be kicked out immediately.
I am non-complex, no dependent and no military history but still no fd, no update! The bank just rejected my mortgage request because I don’t have a PR! 38 months of suffering just because they decided to F with us for no reason! A colleague who applied mid 2022 just got her passport and I am still waiting for my fd! Absolute circus

Everyone is complaining and frustrated because of these officers who don’t give shxxx about us. This should end soon and they need to stop behaving like no body can do anything about their work because they have power. I wish I never come to this country never. Instead of protected our life and future, they really fuck it up.

I left my country because I could no longer tolerate injustice and the denial of our most basic human rights.
I’ve been here for four and a half years, and sadly, I feel like I’m experiencing the same thing all over again.
My work permit expired, and I applied for an extension in February. Since then, I’ve only been told that my application is “under review.” My PR application has also been stuck for over three years and hasn’t even moved to A34.
After three years, they requested military documents that I had already provided before , and now it feels like they are simply playing with our lives and our future.

I think it doesn't work that way. There must be a genuine reason for it to be classified as "non-complex," and this must be recorded in the GCMS notes. Attempts to game the system—such as claiming there was a backlog or a delay and simply marking the case as "non-routine"—will not hold up in court, nor will they alter the merits of your case.

At this stage, u should keep following up through ur MP and IRCC webform, especially since ur application has been waiting well beyond the timelines u expected.
worth asking your MP to make an inquiry about both applications and why the PR file has not progressed.
Did it 3 times, they contact IRCC , snd told us under processing. If you didn’t get anything contact us next 3 months
u have to wait for that period to pass before asking the MP to follow up again. aIRCC Agents generally can’t provide information beyond what is available in the application status, so the MP inquiry is mainly useful for confirming whether the file is still being processed or if anything is outstanding.
