Yes we could but they could say that they're still in the standard timeline and their security has just started. I would wait till the 3 year mark which is coming in January and if I don't have my final decision I would start a mandamus by then. They're honestly working on the files I would wait a bit more to see how it goes. Hopefully it won't reach that stage and we will have our decisions soon.
What's your timeline by the way? When did you apply and do you have any dependents?

But everything else in my application still the same

If all the other sections remain unchanged, IRCC may still be completing the remaining checks.

Hopefully you’ll see another update or receive the portal email soon.

My security started in May 2026 and my overseas dependent has already completed their medical and biometrics. I also applied for GCMS notes back in June and I haven't received it yet.
Yes I was told by my lawyer that families and people with dependents are currently taking longer than solo applicants.
As I mentioned my sister who applied alone in April 2024 got her final decision yesterday and we are still waiting. It is unfair though but what can we do? All we have to do is wait!!!!

The difference between solo applicants and families with dependants can definitely be frustrating, especially when newer solo applications are finalized first. Hopefully your GCMS notes arrive soon and give you a clearer picture of what is still outstanding. Wishing you and your family good news soon.

I don't know why does it indicate brightness issue? Says: Your photo is too dark or too bright.

Although I uploaded the in different ways by editing it but it's still same. The warning is there.

Someone mentioned earlier that, according to their lawyer, applicants with dependants overseas are not really receiving the same level of response as applicants without dependants. This seems unfair. That said, I am happy for all those who have received their final decision.
