Anyone in this group when security started and got final decision. Because it’s been 31 months passed my security not started. People applied in August got Pr . I am march 2024 dependents outside

Call them. Keep calling them. In my case a day after I called them and they told me security not started. The next day I got FD. So try calling I hope you hear something good soon

Unfortunately I am not sure I applied for GCMS notes and I haven't received them yet. It seems like a comprehensive security though because it's been processing for 4 months now with no news. When did you apply? Any news?

I have dependents overseas as well and I've been waiting for 33 months now. I am definitely in a worse situation but my security has started. People in 2025 are receiving their PR not just August.

I think IRCC just giving people who are already inside Canada not outside with dependents.

I think IRCC just giving people who are already inside Canada not outside with dependents.

My security started in May 2026 and my overseas dependent has already completed their medical and biometrics. I also applied for GCMS notes back in June and I haven't received it yet.
Yes I was told by my lawyer that families and people with dependents are currently taking longer than solo applicants.
As I mentioned my sister who applied alone in April 2024 got her final decision yesterday and we are still waiting. It is unfair though but what can we do? All we have to do is wait!!!!

Yes we could but they could say that they're still in the standard timeline and their security has just started. I would wait till the 3 year mark which is coming in January and if I don't have my final decision I would start a mandamus by then. They're honestly working on the files I would wait a bit more to see how it goes. Hopefully it won't reach that stage and we will have our decisions soon.

What is the 3 year mark? Average processing time is 13-14 months nowadays. All 2023 and 2024 applicants fairly above this.
