How did you figure out it was an A34? I don't think "not applicable" is an indicator of that. Have you checked your GCMS notes?
I contacted local MP and he pulled the notes - he said we are in extensive security assessment (I think that's A34). Not applicable as far as I understood happened after criminality check expired due to application taking too long ! It's very confusing but this is what I understood.

Feels like nobody knows, IRCC call centre were guessing “could be fingerprints “expired

As far as I know, after eligibility is passed, it becomes "not applicable," and then when security starts, it becomes "we are processing" again.

I don't know... eligibility received on Sep 2023, security assessment started right after that. Background checks switched to Not Applicable around Oct 2025.
Like I said, it's very confusing and looks like they dont have a good system, for all I know the application might be finished but it's forgotten somehow?

If it has been a long time with no meaningful update, you could consider ordering updated GCMS notes or contacting your brough MP for a case-specific inquiry. Hopefully your file is still actively moving toward finalization.

Yes, I'm thinking of ordering updated GCMS notes using Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) Online Request, after that I will contact MP again.
