Yes ... the process doesn't make sense. It should take months (maybe 1 year ?) it should NOT be a multi-year process

We almost the same i applied in may 2022 , nothing since i applied . Even when i ordered gcms notes 2 months ago it gaves me security not started , criminality in progress .
It doesn’t make since after almost 4 yrs and half they still looking to us.
last I checked it started Dec 2023 , the process is ridiculous, especially after being accepted as a refugee.
If they consider someone a security threat, keeping them in limbo inside the borders for years, doesn't that give them more chances to execute the threat they identified, which defeats the whole purpose of the security check !!!
It's like going through airport security, and border security suspects a passenger has contraband or something bad in their bag. Instead of pulling them aside immediately at the checkpoint and processing them immediately , the officers say, "We need to run a deep background check on this bag, which takes three hours. In the meantime, please go board the plane and sit in your seat while we look into it."
This is how stupid the process looks, what is the logic behind this ? Increasingly I feel it's just racism and discrimination.
Like I said I'm just tired and exhausted, I honestly don't know what else to do...
May I ask which country you’re from? I’m feeling very worried because my comprehensive security screening started in March 2026. The waiting time has been very long, and it’s been difficult.
Two types of security one IRCC second comprehensive IRCC Refer to CBSA & CICS Security agencies if deep checking & it’s take time depend on file.
GCMS notes show security started or not started or Comprehensive security started send to CBSA.

My question do I have a comprehensive security check?
Apply again GCMS notes then you can check it or easy way to call IRCC agent to check your application current status. Specially confirm your security started or not.
