Clarification about my Primary NOC

Dear All,

Please, I need clarification about my current predicament.

I have experience in Health care sector as a Personal Support Assistant while I was a full-time student. I worked part time from February 2023- November 2024 and I have accumulated total hours of 1760hours.

After which, I proceeded on maternity leave. Prior to my healthcare work, I have been an Accountant back in Nigeria with 7years of experience and I further came to study Business Mgt here in Canada which was what I used in all of my study and spousal permit application. I am also a chartered accountant in Nigeria.

Fast forward to now, I have a full time one year working experience as an Accounting Technician and still currently working in that field.

With my current express entry score of 489. Can I use NOC 33102-Nurse Aides, Orderlies, and Patient Service Associates as my primary NOC, so I can benefit from targeted health draw, which my employer will provide me a reference letter, and I have a backup for my employment even though it's not my current profession or should I use NOC 12200- Accounting technicians and bookkeepers as my primary NOC which is what I am currently doing?

You can’t count the work experience if done during your studies in Canada. Did you do attend school and do a PSW course?

Thank you for response.No I didn’t. I just did some of the key job duties of the role.
