Honestly nobody knows. Im still thinking they will have any kind of condition or you should fulfill a requirement to be in this group. That's my thinking. Lets see on January what they will say.

I dont think they can implement any conditions for protected person applications about this matter. Maybe they can say this one-time initiative valid for applications before any exact date for easier processing.

I asked because lot of my friends lost the TR to PR back in 2021 due to the lack of documents

Tr to pr pathway is not related with protected person based pr application.

if you talk about tr to pr pathway, documents should be fairly important yes.

Hey Everyone, I am May 2023 applicant and had received pre-arrival and eligibility back in Aug 2024. nothing after that. this wait time is so exhausting :/

in new PR processing times, it shows 9 months left for me. its been 914 days already :/

Eligibility is passed, Criminality is also passed, Info sharing is complete but security has not started yet as per GCMS noted requested in Aug 2025.
