We have a family application and only my daughter was approved, can she add others in her pr application?

She can only add a spouse/common-law partner and any of her dependent children.

Mine was submitted in march still no update on acknowledgment letter just an email with letter received with confirmation of receipt for applications. Not sure if it was AOR. Not sure about next steps and just stressed about whole process and confusion of what’s next.

Can someone please help and advise me

My lawyer said she can include her other family members in her pr as long as they are considered part of the same nuclear family and were included in the original asylum claim.

Don’t believe that is correct but I am not an immigration lawyer. They would need to list their family members in their application. You may want to ask for clarification and proof that this is possible. How old is the child?

Yes,I have consulted widely about it,and that was their responses. She is 18years now.

When I read some of your comments I laughed,you proof to know everything. Are you an immigration lawyer or you Google things and come online to say lots or Ircc invite you to meetings or do send their resolutions to you? If you need Ircc literature you ask for it.

Yes, it has the XG00 number and after which in June 2025 I was advised to give biometric that was also done but not sure what are next steps and anything as an update that I can expect from ircc? I am extremely stressed just because the process is not clear to me. Can you please advise further?

He/She is right! Only common law or dependent children can be added! The 18 year old can sponsor their parents in the future!

Good,but people dont want to learn new things,she can add them if they have joint application ,not as a dependant but as accompany, but if they have separate application then she can later sponsor them after obtaining her Pr.
