I just heard the news regarding processing time for refugees, it's insane!! Plz some one tell me these numbers are unreal
How can anyone wait that long?
The average waiting time was 25 month few days ago and suddenly it turned in to an other 2 years from now, what's next? Like waiting for an other 2 years and they're gonna increase the time again

Followed all the steps. But wandering if anyone can access those numbers now, it shows data not available when I’m checking. Maybe they’re doing system check or something.
Oh my, I just checked and got the same thing... Seems they updated the system, but the info is not there... I have a bad feeling about this. But want to keep hopeful!

Hi, I was able to access the information on Laptop, Im February 26, 2023 applicant and the processing time shows 5 more months left with 8300 applicants ahead of me. My friend applied on May 20, 2023 and her waiting period is 10 more months with 14500 applicants ahead of her. This gives an insight into where we stand.

I received my ATIP notes today which I requested on September 17. Criminality and security not started yet. Surprised that I received those within 3 weeks. Nothing changed after eligibility. I do see a note which I requested after completing my processing time in July 2025 - the response mentioned that “file is in Queue for processing- no actions taken at this time” - another note says application ready for CPO. Another strange thing I noticed that my secondary office was Etobicoke IRCC (in December 2024 ATIP notes) and now it says Montreal Immigration. Primary office CPC Mississauga.
Update just received Ecopr October 10… I will make 1 final update in this group when I receive the card in the mail.
Confusing, can u clear which notes says ur security is processing? And which notes saying what.
Ur all things should have done by now.
And Montréal process is they just sharing their work loads nothing else.
Its their way to scare people so they dont apply for asylum. I dont think its fully true.
Guys calm down the website is obviously not updated or hasn’t processed it completely. They are probably still testing out this new system. Give it a couple weeks
I agree processing times are likely not true and are just to discourage people from applying to refugee and H and C programs.
It is true buddy, it is not only IRCC that they are slow. I sent some doca to CRA, afyer 3 month I got an email that they recieved my docs

It’s a joke! August was 17 months last night and 16 months now
) September was 21 months last night and 19 months this morning! (Like, what has changed overnight) It shows 5 more months for January 2023 applicants! What a mess
