US B1/B2 Visa Renewal with ecoPR?

I'm becoming PR of Canada and need to apply for US B1/B2 visa renewal asap.

Although on the website stating that "Eligible applicants must submit a copy of their valid status in Canada (permanent resident card, work authorization, or student permit)" (https://ca.usembassy.gov/visa-renewal-by-mail/), can I provide ecoPR as the prove of valid status or I need to wait for physical pr card?

Anyone experiencing? Please advise, thank you!

The waiting list for an interview in Canada might be longer than your home country. If so, you might as well renew it in your home country.

Visa renewal in Canada takes less than a month. I did it every year with my work permit copy before.

Last time I checked the waiting list was over a year! So I told them to go their home country which there's no waiting.

Visa renewal does not require interview, just complete ds-160 -> pay fee -> send passport for stamping
