Title: IRCC Lost My Refugee Travel Document Containing a Valid US Visa Until 2030 — Do I Need a New Interview? Message: Hello everyone, I am looking for advice from anyone who has experienced a similar situation. I am a Canadian permanent resident and hold a Canadian Refugee Travel Document. I sent my previous RTD to IRCC for renewal. My old RTD contained a valid US B1/B2 visitor visa that was valid until 2030. Unfortunately, IRCC did not return my old RTD and it appears to be lost. As a result, I have lost access to my previous travel document, which contained my valid US visa. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experienced a similar situation, particularly those living in Canada. 1. Did you have to apply for a new US visa after your previous RTD was lost by IRCC? 2. Were you required to attend an in-person visa interview, or were you eligible for an interview waiver? 3. Since my previous US visa was still valid until 2030 when my RTD was sent to IRCC, does that make any difference to a new application? 4. Can I apply for a new US visa using my renewed Canadian Refugee Travel Document? 5. Did anyone contact the US Embassy or Consulate in a similar situation, and what guidance did they receive? Agar aap ne apna valid US visa expire hone se pehle IRCC ko diya
