@Miss bee i have a situation. On my PR tracker ots shows i made a request to withdraw my PR application on August 15 which i never made via webform or email. Why it is on my pracker? Please help
If your PR tracker (IRCC account) is showing a note that you requested to withdraw your PR application but you never submitted such a request by webform, email, or letter, there are a few possible explanations:
System or clerical error.Sometimes IRCC’s tracker shows incorrect status updates (it’s not always real-time and has been known to display errors).
Internal transfer/update mislabelled as “withdrawal”In some cases, when IRCC is moving your file to another office or program stream, the system may mark it as a “withdrawal” incorrectly.Duplicate applicationIf you submitted more than one PR application, IRCC sometimes closes one and labels it “withdrawn by applicant” even if you never requested it.Miscommunication or data entry issue. An IRCC officer could have updated your file incorrectly.

What you should do
  • Do not ignore it — it’s important to clarify officially.
  • Submit a webform inquiry:
    • Go to the IRCC Webform and explain clearly:
“My PR tracker shows that I requested to withdraw my PR application on [date], but I never made such a request. I have not submitted any withdrawal request by webform, email, or mail. Could you please confirm the status of my application and correct this error if applicable?”
  • Attach proof: A screenshot of your PR tracker status can help.
  • If you have a representative/consultant/lawyer: Ask them to check if anything was submitted on your behalf.

@Miss bee
Just received a second portal 2 email. I see a new PR confirmation entry with UCI marked as DONOTUSE. Just wanted to know if I should be concerned?

@Miss bee I have submitted documents to add my spouse in February 2025. After that I received my PAL, Background check completed and COPR details available on tracker on April 3rd. Since then there is no update on my file. I contacted MP and he made an inquiry, the response he got from IRCC "file is in final approval stages and IRCC requested documents to add spouse on April 3rd and there is no response from applicant." But, I have called IRCC multiple times in last six month and they have confirmed multiple times that they have received all the documents that was sent through webform and no further information is required and asked me to wait as adding spouse may take decent time. Now I am confused what to do, my work permit is expiring in Feb 2026.

It looks like your application is stuck because of a mismatch in IRCC’s system regarding your spouse’s addition. Even though you submitted the documents in February 2025 and IRCC call center agents confirmed they were received, the MP inquiry response suggests the system still shows them as “requested” on April 3, 2025. This type of delay is common when adding a spouse after your own background and eligibility are already cleared, because the file cannot be finalized until your spouse’s details are fully assessed. To move things forward, it’s a good idea to re-submit the entire spouse addition package again through a webform, making it very clear that you are re-sending due to conflicting messages, and attach all relevant documents (marriage certificate, forms, PCC, medicals, etc.). If you know which visa office is handling your file, you can also email them directly with the package. At the same time, requesting your GCMS notes will give you clarity on what’s actually happening in the system. Finally, keep your MP in the loop, as their follow-ups may help ensure an officer looks at your file. Since your work permit is valid until February 2026, you are not at immediate risk, but re-submitting and documenting your efforts now will help avoid unnecessary further delays.

Hi @Miss bee , hope you are doing well.
I'm a July 2024 applicant still waiting for FD. Yesterday, talking to the agent on the phone she told me that my SVO changed from Winnipeg to Montreal. is that a good thing? does it mean anything at all? last update on my profile was February 2025 nothing after that.

Hello Folks,
It would be great if someone could guide me here. My application date was 11th August 2024 and my timeline is as follows.
Biometrics: 30th January
PAL: 7th May, 2025
Medical Updated: 22nd May, 2025
FD: 2nd July, 2025 (It says under Final Decision in GC Key that "Your application i in progress 2nd July 2025)
P1 email: 3rd July 2025 (Replied back the same day)
No update ever since.
I see that profiles have started getting their eCOPRs around the same timeline as mine. My SVO (the one where i got my P1 email) was Etobicoke and PVO was Sydney.
My tracker shows eCOPR number and expiry, but no update on the P2 email since 55 days.
What can be done here? Who can be contacted? Or is it just a waiting game?
