Hello everyone. My work permit will be expiring in September 2025. I applied through non express entry in December 2024. I have still not received my AOR. Right now I am only eligible to apply for an lmia exempt work permit called T13. The problem is according to the Alberta website it says that I must submit a support letter, proof that the employer paid a fee and a copy of my nomination. The following is also mentioned:
  • include a copy of your Acknowledgement of Receipt from IRCC with your IRCC file number, if your AAIP nomination is no longer valid when you apply
Now my issue is that my nomination has expired already but I have not received my Acknowledgment of receipt.

I was going to apply for a 204c support letter soon. But after I get that, what should I do? As my nomination is already expired. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

This information is when you apply for work permit for support letter you need 3 recent pay stubs, and employment offer or letter and proof that you applied which will be email of submission confirmation.employers compliance you will need to apply for work permit. and if you have AOR why would you need support letter right.

Hello everyone,

I am preparing to submit my Permanent residence application (non-express entry) based on a non-express entry provincial nomination. I have compiled and arranged all documents listed in the document checklist. Please, do I need to add any other additional supporting document(s) that was not mentioned on the document checklist? In addition, do I need police clearance from RCMP here in Canada as well? I am an in-land applicant and have been in Canada for over 2 and half years now.

Your assistance would be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

  • You need police certificate for every country you (or a family member) stayed in during the last 10 years for 6 months in a row or longer.
You don’t need to give police certificates for any period of time before you were 18 years old or for time spent in Canada.

I applied for non express on aug 30th , 2024 if i want to remove my representative will it cause any negative impact on my file ? Please respond
If you do not need the representative anymore you can go ahead and remove the representative. This does not have any impact on your file. Once you remove representative all the communication from CIC will come directly to you.

Ok, thank you! Someone was confusing me about it and said he included Canada police certificate in his and claimed that he made his application processing faster.

Hi @Miss bee
today is 2 years since my AR. I have been stuck in security from 1.5 years. My employer gave me a supporting letter and asked IRCC to speed up my application. Also, I contacted the local MP a few times. She says I have to wait. I am really sick of waiting, specially when I see there is no fairness in the immigration system. have you got any advice for me?
