Has anyone submitted documents via webform and got confirmed? Before AOR?

Hi I applied on 26 jan2024, AOR 26 april 2024. My PVO was Sydney and SVO was ottawa. But I called today PVO is etobicoke and SVO Sydney. The IRCC lady said it was the same before PVO never changes. But I talked to IRCC 2-3 times before and the offices were sydney and ottawa. How it happened? Should i call IRCC again tomorrow? Guidance please!

If you are outside Canada and receive your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR), do your previous visas and permits automatically become invalid? Also, will you get an immigration visa in your passport at the same time as the COPR, and there is no need to apply for it? Additionally, I'm a bit confused: if I initially indicated on Portal 1 that I was outside Canada, but then returned to Canada before I got COPR, can I update my status on Portal 1 to reflect that I am now in Canada? Thank you for your help!

I need to apply for closed work permit. My PGWP is expiring in one month.

My employer paid the compliance fees but did not print the receipt. He only provided offer of employment number. He could not find receipt in portal.

Will this affect my application for work permit. Can I apply without the fee receipt?

Yes, you will receive BIL for PR even you have a valid biometric for a temporary visa.

According to canada.ca website If you haven’t already paid your biometrics fee, pay it as soon as you get BIL from IRCC. I have no idea if the payment and sharing the receipt via webform is better or not.

If fees is already paid , you don’t need to attach receipt. Just make sure your Job offer is valid . Attaching receipt is not mandatory.

Also, will you get an immigration visa in your passport at the same time as the COPR, and there is no need to apply for it? If you are outside Canada, you have to send your passport to local visa office. They will issue you a stamp which will indicate your PR one time entry visa .

Yes, my job offer is completely valid. I have been working with the same employer in Ontario for more than 3 years now.

But the work permit support letter I have received has mentioned to provide proof of compliance fees paid by employer, while creating work permit application. Therefore I am asking them to provide but they could not find it on employer portal. Now, I am not sure what should I do?
