Anyone please was is the difference between Criminality check and Security check .

I guess the criminality mean Rcmp run biometrics in system for any criminal record match and security clearance is given by csis. Which is intelligence agency.

My application is in LVO and outland , online spouse sponsor. applied October 2022. Eligibility shows completed, medical completed as well, BC in process since April 19. No further updates.

All , Please advise if it is normal that BC in gckey changed from non applicable to we are processing your background check. No update on tracker . I dont understand. Anyone in this situation?

Its normal. Sometimes gckey is more updated than the spousal tracker for some people. Depends on the officer what they choose to update on.

I was hoping after BC not applicable it will go to ppr.. sniff sniff

The background update was a glitch on the gckey system. Its been confirmed. It seems your background just started processing. Hang in there.

Hi,
When will your sister's husband get his noc? It depends on the time frame as it will be asked for as an additional documemt and recently they are getting stricter about it, or so I have heard.

Is he taking release or retiring? He will need his noc as an additional document later on even if you can get a police certificate for applying.

Hello , my medical was completed on 23 March. How long it may take now to get ppr, any idea ?
My timeline:
Application recieved:3 Oct 22
Aor: 17 January
Biometrics: 2 Feb
Sponsorship approval: 6 Feb
MR: 8 March
Background in progress: 19th April
