I sent it by Canada Post. Did not mark as urgent though. Perhaps they will open the courier bag?

Also, Have you tried tracking with your UCI on Ecas?
I checked, nothing. The agent said the same thing, the package has to be opened and I will receive acknowledgment email then I can track my application and up till now it's not opened yet and they can't find my application in the system. You sent it to the P.O. Box of the 49 Dorchester Rd? The first one I sent by Canada Post, it was sent to P.O. box and the urgent one I sent it by UPS, to 49 Dorchester Rd. I wrote urgent on my package but it was placed inside the UPS package so I don't know if they would know that it's urgent. I already asked UPS put in a request asking the delivery man to write Urgent on the outside before he deliver it. Already did whatever I can, now just wait.

Good pre-emptive action!

@ROCK ON: why not give it a try! All you need to give the RCMP is the ircx Vancouver address and your application number. You never know, it could preemptively approve your criminality!
I wish I could but will they allow me to do that without request letter from IRCC ?

I sent it to the normal mailing address (not courier). Yes, can only hope. You will receive an update soon. It's just a question of waiting.

I'm hoping my LPP get cleared soon so I can email the ceremony office to ask for an urgent arrangement for oath then I can get the certificate on time for passport. I read from the other thread, once your LPP are updated as complete you can email them to ask for oath status and they will let you know. Will see.
Passport can be done with 1 business day service with paying 110$ extra but I need the certificate so ... anyway waiting game.

Then you can't send that without the letter
@ROCK ON There's nothing stopping a private fp check. People do it all the time for employment. It's the same exact criminal record check. When I went for my FP, they didn't want to see my letter. They have a form to fill and just need you to confirm the particulars. The only difference between citizenship and employment is that you quote your citizenship application number (a necessary reference) and authorise the result to be sent directly to ircc Vancouver (there's a specific address which I can share). If your background remains pending for many more months and you're out of options, that's what I would do. What's the harm in it?

I agree, in my case she asked me to see the letter and then i filled the form by myself but I showed her the old one :) and she didn't notice the date

I gave online test on 20th January 2023. The test on tracker still shows in process. Any idea how long it will take to complete the test.

Lets give it a try.

After it went to in progress did they request again your FP? because for me after it went into in progress for the 2nd time (i already gave my FP for the first time). I took my FP without them requesting again and after 3 weeks my background check again went to completed.
If you didn't provide your fp for 2nd time, try to do that by yourself maybe it would help you not waiting on them.
After it went to in progress, absolutely no contact or updates made on status. I really feel like I should do the same thing!!! MY FP expires tomorrow, and I do not see the harm in sending new FP at this point.
Thanks for your insight.
