ICT Work Permit (GSS) India Timelines

LMIA exempt - Location Pune, India
Not sure about the timeline, my company filed my ICT WP + SOWP + 2 Kids study permit (aged 12 & 6)
Application Submitted - 23th Dec 2022
Biometrics request received: 25th Dec 2022
Biometrics completed: 13th Jan 2023 & updated same day
Medicals for all 4: 3rd Oct 2022 (upfront)
PPR: ?
As per my company, the latest update is biometrics updated date i.e 13th Jan 2023
Need to understand the timeline, as to when shall I expect the PPR maybe end of the Feb 2023?
Appreciate any information or comments

according to the CIC website the processing time in India is 8 weeks, this gets updated every Wednesday and this data is not accurate and we might need to wait for more time.

Hi all i made a work permit application from London, i have a valid job offer and my application is under IMM and my employer paid the compliance fee to IRCC.
- when i uploading the documents there is no mention for proof of funds,
Do i need to show any funds?
if i need to - How much funds do i need to show?

Bio Updated and given 29 dec .
status still processing and no update from then.
for me ~No medical required

Hey Vamsi, my case was handled by the attorney of my company and hence I did not have view to specific steps change. I am sorry but I can't help here. Mine was LMIA exempt ICT Work Permit (GSS) and these days it is happening around 4-5 weeks when applied from India. Wish you all the best and hope you share the good news soon with us.

LMIA exempt ICT Work Permit (GSS) is taking around 4-5 weeks when applied from India. You may expect before Feb end. Wish you all the best and hope you share the good news soon with us.

HI Raka, Thanks alot for your reply, you are already very helpful by updating your time line, one last query, is your application INTRA transfer ? if not can you share your NOC and Lmia exempt code please?

I have applied for a Canada work permit (Intra Company Transferee application (ICT) - Highly specialized knowledge class through GSS stream – LMIA Exempt LMIA Exemption Code: R205 [R205(a)] (exemption code C12))

Application Submitted - 14th Nov 2022
Biometrics request received: 15th Nov 2022
Biometrics completed: 18th Nov 2022
Medicals for all 3 (spouse and kid): upfront
PPR: ?
Latest update:
"Review of medical results: Nov 30th 2022 You have passed the medical exam"

No updates from Nov 30th.


I would like to know from the ones who recently got approvals:

1. Is this the first ICT of your company or your employer have filed and got ICT approved before?
2. Any general comments on my application?

Hey Nish,
i am just an applicant like you, but i believe your application crossed time line, May be raising a webform helps you.
check this page, if you feel your application satisfied all the terms to raise a webform

I am waiting as my processing time mentioned ends by the feb end. so i didn't raised any webform yet.
please update if you hear anything return from IRCC after you submit webform.
