Hi!
Any updates?
Nothing dead silence.. my Immigration consults flagged / ticketed or what ever one would like to call it 3 times yet the London visa office has a mind of their own and just does what and when it wants to. Acknowledged 1 out of the 3 flags we sent and still nothing in writing. Tried to contact my local mp to see if they can help but they don't even reply to emails. The moment you call IRCC and get to a live person they ask which visa office and they are just waiting for you to say London as once they hear u say that they said contact the LVO as they can't do anything ... 17 months processing time now and I'm at 20 months .. 3 months passed due and only have a pre arrival service letter and waiting ...

Sorry for what you are going through it!
Wish you hear anything soon
I feel they will do they same for me
It has been a month since I got pre arrival and no ppr, DM since Saturday and no pre arrival.
I am not optimistic at all

Is there any Canadian Govt issued doc that tells marital status?
Neither passport, drivers lic nor health card shows a person's martial status. Where can we verify it?

https://www.idocscanada.ca/2020/06/single-status-documents-in-canada/

How can I prove my marital status in Canada?

A Single Status Declaration (notarized by a Canadian Notary Public) Your Canadian passport, Canadian birth certificate, or Record of Landing form and Canadian Citizenship Card (originals or certified true copies) A divorce or death certificate for a former spouse, if applicable (original or certified true copy)

Quick update all .. By the Grace of God All mighty we FINALLY got the passport request today.... omg omg it's been a long awaited 7 year struggle. It's hard to believe .. I just want to take this moment to thank each and everyone who has replied to my messages and queries and to the ones who have motivated me and kept me positive and who have made dua as well. I can't thank you guys enough and I wish that everyone who has applied for sponsorship all get approved sooner than later and may everyone be re united with their loved ones.

Now I do have 1 small tiny question with the passport request it asks to fill out an Appendix A - Updated information chart.

In it .. has the place for applicant name sponsor name passport details n expiry eye colour height etc etc ..

My question is .. should it be just my mrs info as she will be only submitting her passport OR should she be entering My info too with canadian passport info and we have 2 kids whom both have canadian passports and are currently in Pakistan aswell too should we be putting in all 4 of our information on their ? I will be contacting my Immigration consults one more time to confirm but wanted to ask the group here .. my mrs is in karachi pakistan.

Hi, I am in process of getting LMIA based work permit and just had my medical done. Any idea that if medical completion creates higher chances of getting work permit issued soon and passport request made within a month for travel Visa.

Please guide if you have any details.

This is not related to family sponsorship. The process and timing is totally different. Seldom seen spousal sponsorship issue within a month.
Post your question at the foreign worker section.
