I have a quick question though, PPR only addresses the PA, has no mention about my mom and the dependent brother. Is this how it normally is? we should sent my moms and brother passport along for visa stampin?

@laxsun Could you please confirm if this is the case.
Please go through the PPR thoroughly. PPR is received only for principal applicant.
It looks like that they intended say passports of all applicants and has to be mailed separately.
In my case only PA was the applicant, so I do not know the process for PA+dependents.

I get that. My question was if each member in the application would receive a PPR separately? I suppose you wouldn't know as you only had a PA.

I am probably just over thinking. PPR does indicate to include Passports of accompanying members, so will send all PP's though VFS.

2019 Tracker shows 53.6% of 866 cases (volunteered for info) have received PPR.
Most of May applicants are final.
Most of June applicants do not bother updating tracker info.
Without info, only IRCC case officer may be able to give you the progress status of the case.
The case statistics are in the cells Y4 to AH4.

You are right PPR is addressed to PA. However, the document/instructions are for all applicants on the referenced application number on top right corner. It also uses the wording "of yourself and each accompanying family Memeber/dependant" severally across the document.

So it leads me to believe you'd only get one PPR per application addressed to the PA but covers everyone on the referenced application.

makes sense, Thank you!

PPR advises the all required documents be sent in one single package, however, VFS wants the passports sent to them individually and has generated 3 separate way bill numbers for 3 applicants. I find this a little confusing and contradicting to what IRCC advises. How would Visa office know that the other two accompanying members are also approved for Copr?

Hello all,

I'm new here but not new to the process.

Like many of you, I'm waiting to hear back re the update on my parent's application.

I've been trying to link my parents' application to the GCKey account for a long, long time - and I have tried more than 60 combinations (some of them twice... I have an excel sheet where I put any combinations I use there)- nothing has worked yet. Does anyone have any tricks to link an application to GCKey account? So far, writing to CIC was just a waste of my time...

Re the application - last I heard re the status of my parents' application was that " it is almost ready to be finalized". I got this info from Ankara's office, the local office... I don't know what that means, but that's all I got.

Both parents completed their second medical on April 30, 2022 since the first one was expiried in March 2022. We are still waiting.

I'm looking again at the spreadsheet and it seems the averages are all over the place, since lots of us have been in the limbo during the pandemic. Does anyone else feel the same?

Do you know AOR date?
In Process date?
DM1 Date?
Date of sponsorship letter (with local visa office)?
AOR date: Oct 10, 2019
In Process: Oct 15, 2019
DM1 - I'm not sure. Would I have received an email about this?
Date of sponsorship letter: I'm not sure as well.

Thank you!

DM1 will only appear in ECAS but you must have received an email or letter stating that you meet the requirement to sponsor your parents.
The same letter states your parents' application will be processed in certain visa office e. g. CPC-Mississauga, Mexico
