I know. The question is will they send me a new email. I have sent an email to the one that outlined in the email and they have not responded back.
Unless the email says DO NOT REPLY,

You will get another email with clarification or New email with updated time. Give them 48 hours to respond back.

Hi folks, my mother will have an interview in 2 weeks. I have a couple questions.
1, if she needs an interpreter (for example me), can I also join the TEAMS link on another computer (Because my mom and I are in different countries)? Or we have to seat together.
2, If I really want to confirm Q1, can I just reply to the email to ask?
3, The invitation does not require that she take the interview in Canada, do I need to reconfirm this?
4, She is exempt from the English requirement , so the interview is just for confirming docs?
Any info will be appreciated!!!!

You're 2 months before me. Yours is way too delayed. It's already been 27 months for you?

Yeah. I have been following up every 1-2 weeks as well over 2 years. Always the same response “Due to covid” “Due to refugees” Some people I know applied in 2021 and got their citizenship in 2021. This is a really mentally draining experience and I live in Canada for 12th year now.

It already passed 27 months for you so you should ask them.

Suggest you check all that by sending email to the address on the interview notification email.

Have you checked in with your local Federal MP? It might have been a great time to check with them a couple months before elections last year.

But still worth a shot if you haven't already.

Edit: NVM, you have an oath date now.

It happened finally, some movement! After countless web forms sent with no response I finally see an update today when I check my ECAS, they’ve scheduled me for an interview on June 13th. I am currently still outside Canada and have sent them emails asking if I can take oath from abroad several times when they requested my passport pages again in March.
Has anyone that’s given their test outside and still outside Canada given an interview?
What should I expect? Just trying to stay prepared so I am able to get this thing moving!

If I were you I would just plan to be in Canada for the oath on the 13th and get it done with rather than asking them about taking the oath abroad.

They aren't always very supportive if one is outside Canada.

Hi Zi,
Did you get any response to these questions? I have similar questions as you for my parents citizenship application. There is not a lot of information for applicant over 55. I'd appreciate if you can share your experience.
If you don't mind can you please share the application timeline as well.
Thanks,

I have my interview date on 24 June. Any advice to prepare for the interview? They just mentioned in the invitation letter that they want to verify my original docs.
