Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
your right , I have a friend who was approved doing uber , the officer mentioned that she is hard working , doing uber as her side income as she was attending adult high school learning to attain a high school diploma
Indeed. Driving Uber on itself does not disqualify from getting approved. As @Indianna and @Swagzzy pointed out, it is a legal job and it is better than being on welfare support. In general, they look at your file *as a package*, not piece by piece, so a stellar job on itself won't get you approved, and a less-stellar job like Uber on itself won't get you refused.

If you want a real-life example, my partner's first and second HCs were refused despite having a very good job as IT professional. For his 3rd HC, he was stay at home dad because I was recovering from a horrible C-section and could not walk/function for months. Guess what? He got approved. They did not even ask for financial documents when we reached Stage 2.

It all depends on your file *as a whole* and, of course, which person is looking at it.

Exactly. All depends on the officer who will review your file

Indeed. With the first Montreal officer who refused two HCs and PRRA, I just felt we were banging our heads against the wall. No matter what we added as extra evidence, it was disregarded outright and every HC establishment factor in her notes was presented as a reason to leave. Like "the applicant has canadian degree and experience. This will allow him to find a good job when he returns to his country". The nightmare did not end until 3rd HC was re-routed to a different office and person.

You’re wrong a job is a job t4 are issued for contract workers also if I’m not mistaken they even provide some form of Letter stating how long you’ve been working for them ( instacart shopper does ) if filing taxes a person should be good . Doesn’t matter what kind of job if it’s not illegal ! This person is supporting them self and not on social assistance that’s what Agent looking for consistent
That's why I said in my Opinion.
