Hello,
Hope you all are doing well,
Has there been/Will there be any changes to express entry with respect to NOCs etc. Will there be an announcement/ or is an announcement due? Or normal draws will continue from july?

No one knows. So far, it's old good EE.

Hey guys, hope all doing well
After being disappointed with the OINP again, now we finally received very positive news of their plan to resume FSW draws by July (Which they have already mentioned earlier as well early this year if I am not mistaken).
Now, considering my score of 478, do you guys think I have any chance of receiving an ITA within this year? My IELTS will be valid till early 2023 only, and I have zero motivation in redoing an IELTS for Canada.
Shall I be hopeful to receive an invitation by this year? I was an inch away from the OINP invitation that suddenly it disappeared again...So now all my hopes on this announcement regarding their July plan.
Any comments are appreciated guys
Personally I don't think FSW scores will go that low this year. They also halved the 2022 intake, so maybe they reduce draw sizes or have monthly draws. Both are bad for bringing scores down. Good thing is, high scores means OINP cap will be higher (if it still exists). So you'll get your nomination in the nect relevant OINP draw.

Bro, can I ask for some guidelines?
As I have read, for 2022 there would be 55,900 quote for FSW, FST and CEC applicants. The express entry pool is built up on these 3 categories + PNP. As far as the Express Entry history shows, there has never been a specific draw for FSW applicants. So according to their announcements that they are going to resume draws for both FSW and CEC applicants, I assum it means all program draws (unless they surprise us by seprating FSW and CEC for the 1st time in EE history?).
So considering all these facts, and the pool size at the moment, I consider myself (and others within the similar score range) to be among those 55,900 applicants who could be picked this year.
Did I understand this system correctly? Could you please clarify a bit for me?

Nobody knows. It's strange that they specified FSW and CEC, and kept it separate from PNP. My guess would be that they have separate FSW and CEC draws. Why? Because if they combine the two, a lot of CECs will not get invited until next year, let's be honest. And Canada won't want their cash cows to feel any inconvenience.

Couple of things here:
1. They didn't have separate PNP draws in the history of EE. Until they did. They didn't stop FSW in the history of EE. Until they did. Historical data means literally nothing here. The sooner you accept that, the better it will be for your sanity. All you're trying to do with this is trying to find patterns in history that confirm your existing biases. It is entirely pointless.

2. Remember that people graduate in May. So if someone graduated last year, started working in July, they will become EE eligible by the time draws resume. So more CECs with scores more than yours. Same logic for FSWs completing 3 years of exp around that time. So I'd expect a lot more people entering the pool by the time draws resume.

Back before all this shit started, anything above 456 was considered a great score. Then 470 was considered safe. With a 478, I imagine you're right at the border of what would be considered a safe score. I can't say if you'll get invited this year or not. All I'll say is if you get an OINP nomination, go for it. Don't be a shortsighted moron like some others on this forum by choosing to wait for an FSW invite (which may not come) just to save $1500.
1. You are very correct mate. The moment you start to find a pattern based on which you can predict anything regarding Express Entry, you are done.
2. That is a point I have not even thought about.
Bro, I would absolutely welcome any PNP with open arms at any point. I wouldn't risk a minute waiting for FSW if I have a PNP offer in hand. 1500 CAD$ vs your immigration future? That is such an insane gamble.
Appreciate your comments as always. With your score, most probably you are only a few weeks away from an ITA. I hope the best for everyone here.

Hi all,

I have received an ADR and would like to seek your opinions on some points below. Really appreciate your help!

1. Client information:
  • I was asked to provide "additional supporting documents for my employer (Employment contract, pay stubs, etc.)". As there is no specific period mentioned for pay stubs, can I please ask how many of them should I provide? (IRCC also asked for "Evidence of account activity for the past six months" - does it mean the last 6 months is normally the requirement?)
2. Schedule A (IMM 5669):
  • I am unable to (a) add rows to existing tables in the form and (b) widen the column size (i.e., parts of very long school names are missing). In this case, should I add a letter of explanation with the form, filling in all missing rows and columns?
Thank you all and nice weekend!

1. All the pay stubs you can get & Just the last 6 months as indicated

2. Please look at the instructions at the top of the form. You can add another sheet on your own but you have to fill it as directed. (I missed it too at first).

Thank you!

Regarding the pay stubs question, as each year I have a personal income tax finalization, listing all gross salary, tax and deductions for the entire year. Is there any chance that it can be used in place of 12 pay stubs per year?

Np. My score actually dropped due to age. Haven't checked my profile in a while. Come to think of it, I need to consider creating a new profile now vs. waiting for the next OINP since my profile expires in June. Damnit.

Same shoes buddy, sitting at 478 waiting for a FSW invite.
If it is the same old FSW with biweekly draws I would say that 2000/draw. Every invite after 2023 February won’t make the landing in 2023 thus won’t be able to contribute to 2023 fsw target which is 75K as far as I can recall. So invites between 2022 July and 2023 February will contribute to 2023 target. If we expect usual biweekly draws that means approximately 20 draws in that period. 2000*20=40K. Taking into account that most people have families or at least one dependent (on average), 40K invite can cover 80K people and they are done with 2023.
My math is not so precise, probably invites after 2023 Jan won’t be able to make in in 2023 then it means ircc has roughly 15 invitation rounds to invite those 40K people then 3000/draw is likely.
I think you are safe if your ielts expires only next year. I am losing point in Nov due to age, I think I won’t going to make it if thr draw size is 2000K:/ with 3000K, probably. I would be happy with 2024 landing though (I want to land in summer and not work for a month or two. That would be like a dream :D)

I got the same issue too. I was only 43 days away to be included in the last OINP considering their rule of "profile creation date". I gotta make a new profile too, I guess mine will expire by mid-june. As someone with a score of 478, I am already so disappointed that I have not managed to receive an ITA yet...And then there are people like you with scores above 500. All I can say is I hope the 2nd half of 2022 will be our time.

You got some good math skills girl...Yeah, I also think we in the 470s range should be safe, especially if draw sizes are 5000-6000. But anyway I don't really wanna get back to all those prediction stuff that has been the trend back in early-mid 2021 :) I mean look at it, one day they say it gonna take 27 months for your files to proceed, 2 weeks later they say we are going back to 6 months standard...
My parents and fiance no more show any reaction whenever I share Express Entry news with them, they just give me a bitter smile hahaha.
Let's be optimistic and wait 5-6 more weeks...At least this time we are not hopeful out of guesses and predictions of random Youtubers :)
