Don't wait, when I say I mean it max you will be spending 500$ ,500$ is a decent amount to expedite your application, may or may not work but worth a try from what I can see they are incentivizing upfront so why not using it.
Again may or may not work
Yeah you have a point.

When I got my ADR they just asked for updated PoF and police certificate, so naturally I thought my medicals must be good then.

But I've seen other people get two separate ADRs (couple months apart from each other) so that's probably not how it works.

If I am you I will be completing a schedule A and then do an upfront medical send them through webform and then order a GCMS to see what did they do with that.

The thing I am concerned is their target they have like what 33 k left for fsw EE applicants so each chance we are missing we are pushed to 2023

Also I wonder if having served in the military in my home country makes PR processing take longer? It was just conscription but I did have to provide documents for that in my initial application. Plus maybe the fact that my country is getting hammered by Omicron has something to do with the delays? So many thoughts crossing my mind.

I dont think that is the reason if that was the case my application should be the easiest.
My background are checked twice by USA,my degree is from USA ,my work experience (50% is from USA and same company is there in canada) my eligibility is passed and through my info sharing it should be very easy to do my background check so they don't give a damn about that.
Omicron didn't affect much .
Ukraine from what I have seen haven't affected yet don't know about the future.

Schedule A? Isn't that the form where you write your name(s), birthday, family info etc? I get the upfront remed part but do you think an updated Schedule A form would be necessary? They didn't request that in the ADR :/

I believe if we have received ADR we are going to get the PPR soon. It is stupid to ask people for ADR and then push them to 2023 when they'll have to request updated documents again.

I think it would work. I sent some corrections upfront in the Schedule A last year, I didn't receive ADR for Schedule A, I got it just for PCC.

Bro with our experience do you think they have something called logic.
I am negative and pessimistic here but it is always better to keeps expectations low to avoid disappointment and hope for the best

These were my exact thoughts initially. I'm just getting anxious because so many people who got ADR around the time I got mine, already got PPR.

Man I want someone to knock me out and wake me up when I get my PPR lol

Why I said that
1 a lot or almost all got it as ADR if they are planning to send that again it will add an extra step to you application and I don't think you want that .
Yes it is a form which describes all the personal history but make sure the dates match and not make any mistakes while filling it .

Yeah all we can do is to be hopeful.

Yeah I see what you're saying.

The way they work is... strange to say the least. It feels like we're the ones who have to jump through hoops and figure out what they need from us. They ask for A and B, and we have to go, "Here's A and B, but you probably want C as well, and here's also D, just in case"

Hey guys.
I heard that tourist visa can be turned into work visa right now, so why don't people who can visit Canada do this? Why wait for the EE draws and take the chance of being refused? Also, some provinces like Manitoba give ITA for people who visit them and search for work there. So, again, why don't many people do that?
I know that if I could get a tourist visa I would definitely do that. But unfortunately I'm not allowed.
Am I missing something here?

I got to tell you, this makes my blood boil.

One of the reasons I want to leave my country is because of the shit like this, only to find a more despicable, nerve wrecking same situation in a first world country.

How the fuck do you let investors snatch residential properties and leave your own citizens become modern renting slaves ?

What is the freaking benefit ? Jacked up home prices ? Good, for how long can they keep it ? All these prices are one interest rate or property rate increase away from crumbling. I want to see how they will manage to own 30,000 homes when their rent profits equal their expenses, or better yet when the rent will NOT cover the expenses. Then, you will see those homes put back into the market with a disount.
