Hi,
Is it legal to connect with IRCC agents online and ask about the application?

With some research on the replies to my webforms, I could find my case processing agent.
Those aren't real names sear... Googled their names and was told that those names aren't real. It is computer generated or something and you have no way of communicating with them

Don't know, it's been about 2 months since my spouse was added to the application. No BIL requests yet, no updates on her medicals too.
My spouse was added 4 months ago to my portal application (which was itself 4-5 months after we requested the spouse add-on) but the medical status is still under review and his biometrics info still hasn't appeared in my portal (my spouse is exempt from bio)

what do they mean by common-law spouse lol
When did you order your GCMS?
I ordered it on 8th February 2022. They said common-law spouse because I had notified IRCC about my common-law relationship with my partner (living together for more than 1 year). We didn't register for a marriage certificate because of my ongoing family-sponsored Green Card application (single child over 21 of the U.S. permanent resident).

I understand. It's just that the wording of 'common-law spouse' is strange because you're either common-law partners or spouses. It's like mixing terms. But it doesn't matter I guess, what matters is that you see your partner's name in your notes. Please keep us posted. I see that your AOR is 2019, so I really hope you get your PPR soon.

Thank you. I'll definitely do.

That means I'm looking at similar times myself. My spouse still needs to appear for her BIL though. This is downright incompetency now from IRCC, doling out invites when they can't process half the pending applications on time.

I hope this is not the case for you and yours get processed faster. Fingers crossed!

hello guys,
After submitting all the documents for spouse on Feb 15. Today I received this update.
Latest update:
Review of medical results - March 23, 2022:You passed the medical exam.
I did an upfront medical for spouse but her name doesn't show up anywhere. What does it mean?

This means the medical of your spouse is also passed and it's great news! Wow it happened so quickly for you I am still waiting for my medical after 4 months

Think with regards to spouse's medical yet to be reviewed we are in the same boat. My spouse's upfront medical was done in June, 2021 submitted it since then and I have not heard anything on it. I did my remed on dec 20, 2021 and on 1st Jan 2022 they said my med was passed (and I know it was mine because I also got an email to that effect based on the Web from I used in forwarding the med form.).

Oh, I see. But I think I read somewhere on another thread that 'once you see medical passed on XX date on the portal, it indicates that medical for PA and all dependents are passed'
But how long should our spouses' medicals take? It's been 8 months for you and 4 months for me!

Sorry, I just realized that if your spouse is not added to your portal as a dependent, it means only your medicals are passed. And you should wait to receive an ADR for spouse documents sometime within the next 3-4 months. This was the timeline for before they started processing FSW application faster this year :)

I received a request for submitting all the spouse documents and questionnaire via a kit - application option in the upload documents section.

There is a form called 5562e - Travel Information Form
I have two doubts
1. Should I fill in my details also in this form or only spouse as I had submitted my travel information when I applied
2. We are residing in UAE, country of origin is India. So travel to UAE and back to India should be included or not?
