So let me get this straight - you basically don't think they're going to need your passport at all, but you were very worried they didn't get the info about your new passport?I see! I wasn't too sure if they'd request my passport as I'm an inland applicant. Thank you so much for the help! Really appreciate it.

7 months??? OMG! Congrats nonetheless. I'm on the same boat as you. I tried with both our info but it's not finding the file. I gave up... Hopefully it'll work when we get the SA letter
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
Subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act states that a person who makes an
application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must
produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires. In order for

Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form
(IMM 5669) bearing an original signature
Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months
or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate
Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination

Yes - do what the instructions say. I didn't receive your letter.
But: I would also suggest you also send a scan when you submit electronically, AND include a note that the original is being submitted per instructions.
Is your spouse in Canada now? If not, she cannot do both.
She can apply outland before coming to Canada - but not the open work permit.
Or she can wait and apply inland and for the open work permit at same time.
No, she is not in Canada now. So based on your answer, she must wait to receive her visitor visa, come to Canada, then apply inland and for the OWP at the same time?
It's one month since she applied for the visitor visa because I thought it would be faster than getting the OWP. So she can apply OWP after she comes here. Is it a good decision based on others' experience or it was better to apply OWP at the beginning?
