My husband just received the email which says they have completed his file and we must send his passport withing 30 days! This news couldn't have come at a better time as I pick up the keys to our first home/condo tomorrow!

Side note, the email came from LA.

Funny thing is we just ordered notes last Thursday and I sent an email to Ottawa pilot office today for an update. So unbelievable.

I really had no expectation so keep your heads up ad just keep positive about your email coming soon!

hey...ecas says in process, and when we called CIC this week, they said the file was transferred to ottawa. but havent heard a single peep-still havent received anything in writing...5 months later! What about you??

Ours doesn't even say in process just heard about a month ago (after writing Buffalo) that it was sent to LA. Don't even know if it is still there.

you're right. I gotta believe ours is in LA if that's where yours was sent before the Buffalo office closed.. but it's just hard to say because it has never actually said "in process".

I wrote to Ottawa about a week ago and never got a reply. I think we will write LA next week (after it's been there for over a month)
