What i read from in this forum is...last year they sent AOR in 3 months time approx...if i remember correctly.

Close. Most of us received Email AOR on March 21-23 of 2015 (~2 months after our CC were charged). Soon after our E-CAS got activated. For few people whose CC were charged first had their E-CAS activated in February, 2015. After that, we didn't have any update so far.

I am quite nervous about my app. I have everything in order except for my parent's marriage cert translation. It was translated but I couldn't get the original copy of translation in time, so I sent a photocopy of it instead, with a letter explaining the original translation is still on its way and I can submit it later if necessary... no thanks to Canada post! Took them 3 weeks to deliver the translation even though it's "Express"
Has anyone else experience the same issue? Do you think they will reject my app?

I think it should be fine...even i have provided colored photocopy of affidavit of my parent's marriage, with a letter explaining the same and mentioned that I can provide the original if required as part of the process. I did similarly during my PR process and CIC did not ask me anything further details later...example...my wife's PCC...provided later with a letter mentioning the reason of delay...and submitted the same a month later as soon as i received it.
