Not yet, our flights are booked for 17th May....we didn't think all our paperwork would be completed so quickly so (stupidly!) agreed for our little boys to be page-boys at the end if April...we'd be gone by Christmas otherwise!!!

Hey everyone! Just noticed on the UK website for Canadian Government it is showing the average processing time start to finish is 6 months! Just thought it would shine a bit of light for those looking at the Canadian site which shows 9 months... Good Luck all!!

6 months WOO HOOO!!!!!!!!!! Thats great news, its hard as they used to show 3-9 months so to see 9 months was a bit dissapointing, yay go london embassy!! Lets hope they want to have their desks clear for xmas!

Don't fret! Remember when the website broke it down for 20%, 50%, 80%, (or something like that) of applications processed? Now they are only showing 80%, hence the 9 months. So still, you can hear back within 2 or 3 months. If you look at the September thread applicants, those in London have been hearing back after 2 months from when their file was transferred.

Has anyone actually had a status update from London on ECAS lately?? My file was transferred on the 23rd November but it is still showing as not available.

Nope, not heard anything, I was transferred 19 Nov and haven't heard a thing from London. Am getting a bit worried, as its now over 2 months and things were moving much quicker for September thread applicants.

I didn't have update from london for about 5 or 6 weeks, so dont' be worried at all

My file transfer to London office on 4th Nov, since then I have nothing update on ECAS.....

Its just really annoying. We knew when to expect the sponsorship approval and that was all in time, and now, just waiting, and waiting and waiting....

Although I have matthewc's ecas tracker working and i know it works, I still go on and check occassionally myself just to check it all works okay. and don't miss anything. Am seriously becoming a bit obsessive right now, although really pleased my husband is home for the holidays.

Yeah, just waiting, but up to now still, I don't have AOR or In progress on eCas - have they just lost my file?

We have pretty much the exact same timetable and my Ecas is not showing any update either. I wouldnt worry too much though, . its still early days...

Hey guys,

Just a couple of questions.....

I'm a Canadian (dual citizenship) and have been living in London for 5 years. My fellah and I have been together for almost 3.5 years and after months of trying to prove our relationship I think we're almost ready to file.

The only area I'm a it worried about is the "future" and my "intention" to re-establish myself in Vancouver. I've got a good job working for my Dad and he's had to get a lawyer to draw up an employment letter so that CIC will actually believe it. I've gt flights booked and am definitely making the move - is there anything else that I can do/send/provide to prove that I intend to live in Vancouver and establish my life there?

Also, is there anywhere that my boyfriend can/should put what he intends to do when (or should I say 'if') he gets residency? I can't see anything but want to make sure we're putting enough information to show that we want to set up our life and a family there and all that jazz....
