Really feel for the pending Buffalo group. Sending you positive movement on your applications.

Im still waiting for my passport to come back to me from Australia. They sent me an email to confirm they received my passport June 14th.
Im little anxious on its return with the Canada Post strike and all.

Oh definitely. My wife is down in Virginia Beach and I can assure you, it would be MUCH easier for us if we were together. Last saw her in March, our wedding anniversary is coming up as well...

Yeah, I have seen my husband only three times since we applied (and that was in October, our application was sent back due to a missing signature). Since I moved, my new friends/coworkers have never met my husband, and they jokingly tease me that he is imaginary...

I just received PPR!!!!. I had sent an email on Monday asking them if they had received confirmation of payment of my right of landing fee (which I had already paid). I just got a reply back today stating they received confirmation and that "We are now in a position to request your passports for visa issuance."

OH YAY! CONGRATS!!!
Just one questions: how did you find out you were in process? Did they contact you or did you email them to ask?

I got a postal mail stating that my application is in process, but that I have to pay the RPRF(which I had already paid)...

to palamr (and others of you who had paid the RPRF but the VO didn't seem to notice): did you include a printout of your payment receipt with your original application? just curious..

we have sent three case specific emails over a 3.5 week period - heard back from none of them

I sent in an email yesterday asking for confirmation that they received confirmation of our payment. I guess they misplaced it or something...

Anyway, they actually replied today stating that they did in fact receive confirmation. So at least I know they are aware I paid back in SEPTEMBER ;D
