is it ok to call the embassy to find out if they have received the medical results? or is it risky to call and ask such things

sponsorship approval May 19
Application sent to Manila May 19
Request of Passport from Manila dated May 27 received June 9
passport sent June 10

Hopefully i get the visa soon!

Hi,

Our visa office told me previously that they generally don't confirm receipt of documents, but they'd be in contact if there was anything missing.

We only contacted them about the passport because they'd given us a deadline (60 days) to send it to them, and if they hadn't received it, I'd have had to apply for a new passport and get it to them before their deadline. In this circumstance, they were able to confirm receipt, which was a relief!

Hi everyone!

Quick update especially for anyone processing in New Delhi. We got all of our pictures back today. Unfortunately, the passport with the visa affixed to it wasn't also included. Darn!

Found out today that our application was transferred to Buffalo and started processing there on June 16; however, no update on Ecas.

Am I the only one who has no updates on the first step i only recvd a letter in the mail about the receipt for the payment?

Did anyone else get this kind of letter and no updates !
