Finally.....

A decision has been made on xxxxx xxxxx's application. The office will contact xxxxx xxxxxx's concerning this decision.

YAY!!! Now I feel relief. What a considence after I CSE'ed them asking what was going on.

and the big news.. we got the passport with visa

it was issued on 1st Apr and DM was 4 Apr received on 8 Apr

It says 'Application received'..when I click on it, says ' We recvd your applctn for PR on Mar 28'...I think ECAS was updated just last Thursday/ Friday ( can't remember exactly) give it a another 2-3 days may be...but we all know ECAS is screwed..so don't worry too much abt it!

At 81 days, nylalisa process went fairly quickly. About 1/2 the people get their visa
by this time

At 146 days, waitingforwife was on the long side. About 90% would get their visa
before this time.

I'm only getting excited now, becasue for anybody who had a file transfer near
Feb 22 and have had their PPR should start to see the visas roll out next week.
So far its been about 45 days for my process in Delhi. In the next month, I hope
to be finished.

I just hope everything is done in time so we can visit IIFA in Toronto.

Ok...this Friday is getting really exciting!!!
My husband had received his passport req just today!!!!whewwwwww!!!!

The date on the PPR is Apr 05 and recvd on Apr 08 (he is in Chennai...)... that was fast!
I'm still trying to recover from the excitement...I can't imagine what it'll feel like when he actually gets his visa!!!
so far..so good..and hopefully everything will go smoothly!!!
Just wanted to share it with u guys and hope everyone gets their PPR soon too...!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

I noticed one thing ..........................


in some case they ask passport first and then DELAY.........................

and other cases ...............they DELAY first and then ask for passport...............

the only thing common in both is DELAY ......................

understaff is not our problem......they have to find solution for that. according to information CIC is not a burden on taxpayers. fees we pay are covering all the expenses so if they need more staff they must recruit more and help unemployment.

infact CIC have big money...waiting time is so high for many classes and countries that CIC is making good money from interest for fees deposited.

CIC must recruit more people to bring down wait time but i guess it not the problem of understaff....its just that they are high headed, less efficient people. and red-tapism is at highest level in CIC...they are provided with so many previledges like no right to appeal for visitor visa.....no right to appeal for inlanders....VO's decision is final....VO can not be questioned....applicants can not contact them....why? why?

if they have call centre..why call center can not provide the information???? if MP can pull information why can't apllicants....its just to creat hype....anybody can contact MP and get information...what is the need to bring MP into loop for bringing the info out....

They must make the status info available via call center otherwise call center is not needed....they are spending meaninglessly on call center if they dont provide the required information........

I'm sure if they wanted to make change, they can. It's just that they don't.
