have a question.....

i'm looking at the spreadsheet and dying for my name to be in green. my question is new delhi asked my husband for extra documents fb records, emails, and phone bills. would this mean my file is in process without it showing in ecas? they set a deadline for june 23rd for extra docs to be submitted if we don't submit it before the date our file will be rejected. we sent the docs on may 17th.

I dont think so that they acknowledge the receipt of such documents. Just keep you courier slip for record that they received the documentst well in time. Hope they will start working on ur application soon.

after PPR?
after ecas goes to "in process"?
im worried about BC because of 1.5 years travel history ??? ???

our cases are so similar! your ppr was just 21 days after mine.

They do send the PPR by email, and our wording of the email was same as yours.
Below is the text of the email we received:

"Dear Applicant,

Please find attached correspondence which refers to your application for permanent residence.

Best regards,

Immigration Section / Section de l’immigration
High Commission of Canada / Haut-Commissariat du Canada

New Delhi
India / Inde

Do you know if they send PPR through email or by regular post?
Is the wording similar to the email they they have sent to me?

I did not have any travel history except for a 4 day trip to srilanka..
All my best wishes to the applicants.. God unite all the loved ones at the soonest.. Well, am waiting to get my hands on my PP.. Hav been waiting for that moment from a long time..

Thanks Cricket! Do you know when the status for my wife will change from Application Received to In Progress on E-Cas? I sent my passport a week ago and no change. Thanks for your help!

This is something no one can predict. If your case is straight forward and no travel history then it won't take longer than 6 months to complete

Or online Ecas request once we approach through MP; because after I wrote to MP I haven't got any reply from CIC to any of my queries for last two months ???

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Please be advised that our office requested you for passport submission to our office at the below mentioned address by post on 10-05-2012.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

But they still didnt attach anything. I dont know what to do now. I still cannot post the passport without their letter. Can someone please help.

I think you should email them again and tell them that you didn't receive any letter for correspondence. And also paste that previous email you already received.

Bythe way which emailID did you sent? and how many days did it took for you to hear from them...

They replied to me within 2 days.

Do they usually attach the letter of correspondence to the email. What kind of document is it? Do I have to fill out a form or just a copy of the letter of correspondence and passport and send to them?
