A quick question guys

What does "medical results received" exactly mean ?

I got this update on the same day when my sponsorship got approved .

Does it mean that file is at VO or it is just a regular update ?

Hey Guys what is the best way to update the address to CHC ND

I would suggest you to go for all of the following options to change your mailing address;-

a) Send CHC ND a CSE (Case specific enquiry) by selecting address change & filing out your file number & UCI . Here is the link;

b) Send them a fax at (91-11) 4178-2031

c) Send CHC ND a cover letter mentioning change of address.

d) Send them email at "Delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca"

That's good news, Yes Buddy your file has started reviewing and the VO has updated the same in the e-CAS System !

FYI : Medicals received : It means that CHC ND has received and reviewed the medical results.

Thx Borntowin I had tried all the option you suggested me and I told them I want to cancel my representative I filled the form IMM 5476E
and mailed it to ND but still on e-case its showing my lawyers address in canada don't know how to fix this???

I was just confused because usually I have seen people getting this update some time after the file is transferred to VO. In my case it was updated on the same day when I got the sponsorship approval..

So does it mean that my wife should get PPR soon ? As after reading this thread, I believe that ND office is very quick at sending PPR !!

It will take some time for changes in the e-CAS system but surely it will be updated in your file !

So, Just relax and ignore Buddy !

FYI : PPR can be issued at the initial or final stage and its over all depend on the VO dealing our case files.

when did you get this update "application received" and "medical results received" on PR application part after your sponsor got the approval ?

and is AOR the same as application received date ??

initially I could not find my info on the google docs sheet, but I now found under "Raw Data" for some reason.
Can you please update my status as there was an update on my eCAS, as follows:

- We received *** application for permanent residence on September 27, 2011.
- We started processing your application on October 19, 2011.
- Medical results have been received.
